According to Charlie Campbell on WF there are teams with Pitts 2nd overall on their boards behind Lawrence.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

I would hate Pitts at 6. I understand his athleticism and he's more than a TE, but there are better guys you can get at six. And I want them to move away from this 12 personnel set. Doug ran it 35% of the time last season (highest in the league tied with TEN). Indy ran it 21% of the time, which was middle of the road. Indy ran 3 WR sets almost 70% of the time last season, so that's what I'd expect here and them to add another WR into the mix.

What if Pitts runs a 4.5 at 6'6" 240? He not locked into this TE role but can play in WR sets.

So another slower receiver to clog up the field. No thanks.

H-backs are unique players, don't think of them as TEs (Goedert is a classic TE, OL who can catch).

Rather, they're mismatch nightmares, look at Ertz, with 4.68 speed he was putting up top #2 WR numbers.

A H-back who is an exceptional athlete, like Gonzalez, is equivalent to a top #1 WR. But they're more effective blocking LBs and Ss, not just CBs, to open up big gains for RBs.

Witten (a true TE) is 19th all time yards gained, Gates (H-back) 29th.

However, they are the exception.

It's not the size/speed numbers that matter, but the ability to run WR routes like a WR, thus creating coverage nightmares for a defense.

Fine with Pitts or any other blue chip, this is a two year draft hole, just load it up BPA blue chips. We need everything. I would trade Dallas keep Ertz and let Pitts learn from Ertz if that’s who they are taking. I’ll take Chas Sewell or Parsons as well. Just want blue chip special players.

Ertz can't block in-line, and the two H-back offense is a bit weird.

Deep WR draft, if you aren't sure Chase or Smith are legitimate top ten players, don't reach.

Ertz and Gonzalez put up those numbers because there were no other legitimate options at receiver on their respective teams. Ertz was best used with this team in 2017 when he had just over 800 yards and 75 catches and paired well with Alshon and Agholor who put up similar stats. Ertz had a career year in 2018 when they fed him the ball 100+ times and the offense wasn't as good.

Unless if you have a guy like Kelce, who is still paired with explosive weapons in that offense like Hill, I'm not a fan of your TE being your leading receiver.

They took Goedert in the second round, I'm assuming Ertz is out of here now, so let Goedert take that job and be your primary TE. They don't need to add another one at 6.

Playing with speed (decision making) is a problem.  Skating speed is not.

It is a problem in so many ways but we'll just go back and forth on it.

All of your points are valid, just had nothing to do with speed.

Oh it does.

Pitts would be a solid target for Wentz and would probably put up volume numbers; he’d be the natural replacement for Ertz in the offense.

Quite a few things would need to happen for him to be the Eagles pick at #6, though.  Smith, Chase, and Sewell would need to be off the board, and nobody interested in trading up for a QB.

Agree i think 11 grouping will dominate. Just hope they use goesert in line to let fulgham be off or in motion to help him beat press

The wife and I watched the first episode because so many people were telling us how funny it was.

We haven't watched another minute since.

TV shows I found/still find funny : Cheers, Seinfeld, Two and a Half Men (Charlie Sheen years), The Office,  Modern Family.

Have not seen anything lately that I find worth my time to watch.

This is exactly why I expect them to draft Pitts.

He’s an absolute stud. Don’t allow morons who overthink it to sway you. The same happened with Jefferson last draft.

Yes, someone made a typo a few weeks back but the word makes sense since they are both the same person.
