The tie to Dak is actually much stronger than any Hurts ties.  A lot of guys get recruited out of high school by many programs — notice, Hurts didn’t actually go play for him.

While I would very much like this outcome,  do we have a source for this information?  How do you know this?  Shouldn't we wait until maybe our new head coach actually speaks some words before this conclusion is drawn?

Dude, you are I are usually in lock step.  This idea of drafting a player, you can move all around and hope to cause match up problems with the 6th overall pick on a team that has many long term bigger needs is.....not a good one and has been beaten to death in here.  I'd rather draft Parsons.....and THAT is saying something.  

Just talking about the player, I would draft Chase or Parsons ahead of him, but I would take Pitts over Smith and Waddle.

Pitts is on a another level compared to any other TE in this draft.  He is Darren Waller good.  IMO, Waller is the best TE in the NFL, but is being held back by Carr.

Which I'm perfectly fine with. Now's the time to shoot for the moon cause mediocre coaching and player eval isn't getting this team back to an elite level.  If they bomb then welp it'll be about time for a total dismantling/rebuild anyway so might as well go out with a top pick or so.

I’m assuming our new head coach isn’t going to say he loves what our 52% backup QB who can’t get the ball into the intermediate or deep middle of the field on time or on target brings to the starting lineup as the face of the franchise
