Did you read the rest of what I wrote and why the situation is good for him?  I agree NCAA to NFL isn't always better, however for some the NFL is the end goal.

You teach fundamentals, which most college players lack to some extent. Look at what Stoutland does with his players, you want that kind of coaching at every position.

How to set your feet, beat the press, run precise routes, snatch with your hands, use your body to shield the throw, etc. etc.

Attention to detail, repetition, correction, repetition. And just as important, identify the ones who can't or won't learn, the scrubs you cut, the high profile players you trade before the league catches on.

Andrews was 2004 LJ was 2003.

But yeah that 2003 draft was a disaster.

I remember when eagles pick came up and I couldn't believe Witten was still on the board I thought he was the best TE in that draft, when they took LJ I was like whatever.

Didn't have a problem with Andrews over Wilfork the next year, Wilfork didn't really fit what JJ did on defense, and Andrews was all pro before the back and mental illness stuff.

That LJ pick over Witten though likely cost Reid a super bowl though, frustrating stuff as Witten went on to have a HOF career and LJ had one ok year in 2006 then was pretty much done☹️

But 40 times!  LJ ran much better than Witten at the same weight.

He lit it up at Baytown Lee at QB.  We hoped he might come to UH.  Had success at Utah as a player. 

Not an NFL QB but did play QB so maybe Wentz will listen to him.  

Could be a good hire.

He’s only been an assistant his career and San Fran was not good on ST’s last year. They did have a ton of injuries though. I don’t think anyone is going to know much about this move if he’s the guy.
