Can players take back trade requests? If he did it weeks ago then what's the point of doing these hires

Because they need a coach?

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Kid definitely has moves to get open in the NFL, and plenty of speed.  If Sewell is available at 6, would look at this kid in round 2.  And, now we have a Florida connection.

Looks like eagles are putting a nice staff in place.

The best maneuver would be to "no trade" him.   If he sits out, so be it.  If his career is over, so be it.

While I agree with a hard line approach, the Texans gain nothing by sitting him and get maximum return by trading him ASAP.  The Texans had a worse record than the Eagles did, so you would think McNair would be taking the same rationale as Lurie — the team needs to be rebuilt and need to maximize draft picks.  Since BOB gutted the franchise of draft picks, the return that Watson would bring is needed right now.

Truth be told, even if Watson didn’t want to be traded it would make sense for HOU to deal him to the highest bidder, given their current situation.

I'm not arriving at the conclusion Wentz is gone based on Johnson (this=that.)  More on the information from Caplan (11 has problems with the org. as an entity, and potential Coaches were not told he had to stay, only that they wanted to keep Stout) that (that=this).

Texans hire Culley as head coach?

Wowww

Somebody probably already said it but maybe we can trade Wentz et al. for DeSean.

I understand that.  I just don't know how this bullying stops, if no one ever has the ability to stand up.

They were dumb enough to give Watson a no-trade clause, so they’re stuck being bullied at this point.  The player will get to call his destination (s).  Thankfully for HOU, the presumed destinations are the Jets or MIA, who hold the #2 and #3 overall picks.  Any compensation for Watson would have to include that #2/3 pick, the 2nd round pick, a future 1st round pick, and possibly a player in return.

Get rid of Watson, start over with Zach Wilson, pick up a couple of other draft picks in the deal and start over.  If it’s MIA or the Jets, it also depends what your evaluation of Darnold and Tua is — one of them could go to HOU in the deal as well.

Bullying? They've basically sabotaged the guy's career, I have no issue with him demanding a trade. The owners don't actually care about their players, don't fool yourself. He's gotta look out for #1.

Congrats, you're that guy.

Hurts and a 5th for DeShaun

And I think the players don't care about the owners either. The NFL is a money making machine/business plain and simple.

It's hard for owners and players to get attached when there is this much money involved. Look at how much both sides make.

Well he’s a top 5 QB I would assume around 10 teams will want him.  If I’m Colts I’m trying

looks better than Reagor already. Too bad he won't be there with our second rounder. Worst part is he is a slot which really is what Reagor should be. Sucks

And if I'm the Texans I'm not trading my starting QB to my division rival so he can kill me twice a year for the next decade.

Not sure why we would have to trade for a player that is already on our roster ??

Is there anyone on here that understands the stock market that can explain this mess that's happening?

It seems kinda illegal what happened this morning, but who am I to say. Robinhood trades thru Citadel, who bailed out Melvin once already....1%'ers trying to hold on as best they can

Sure is illegal  ,cant buy but you can liquidate  , hedge funds love that.

Members from Congress, both sides ,already talking about hearings.
