i thought we tagged him but then rescinded it only weeks later. Couldnt remember.

Your probably thinking of the procedure of his contract. Eagles had to pick up his huge option which they did, then Foles had to decline the option and give back $2M to get out of the contract. All that happened and then it was speculated they would tag and trade him but never did.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Tried to listen to the BGN pod today and yet another episode going on about the Eagles not hiring a black coach.

The level in which wokeness has permeated society today is really disturbing.

I don't listen to many sports podcasts anyway, might just cut them out til March if this is how every episode of every podcast is going to be.

I hope Sirianni shaves his neck beard and doesn’t come off as too much of a bro tomorrow.

He's a bro to the bone.

They hired a black QB coach that if he fixes Wentz will likely get lots of offers for OC in the next offseason

Though if he does fix Wentz then I hope Lurie throws money at him to stay a little longer

CBS sports just released their new NFL 2021 mock.

Has the Eagles taking QB Justin Fields.

Interesting....

For better or worse, we are quarterback developers,” Eagles general manager Howie Roseman said "We want to be a quarterback factory.”

Getting those picks for Foles, and Bradford, nothing is out of the question.   Howie is playing fantasy football with a real team.

Another soft goal by the "top 7" goaltender.

It only counts if they're head coaches or coordinators, check your privilege!

Increase their odds.

That's debatable.  The higher the pick, the better the chance they can't f it up.

He also said he regretted saying QB factory lol

Though it's funny that Lurie practically said he has a GM factory in his PC

Odd because QB is the most important position and as we've seen a bad QB coach can really F up your team

Here's how it would go if the Eagles trade down, and deep down I think we all know it.

Guy they could've taken at 6 becomes a superstar.

Guy they end up taking with the first rounder they trade down to = not bad, but not great either. Just okay, a la Barnett caliber player. The guys they take with the extra picks barely get on the field and are cut within 3 years.

And then everyone spends the next few years lamenting passing on yet another stud at 6, making it 3 years in a row the Eagles could've had a legit blue chip player, but passed on them.

And Lurie makes an excuse for Howie in January 2022 for messing up the draft yet again.

I haven't really been able to keep up with all of the coaching hires, is Stoutland the only existing coach that's staying or are there any others?

What's this draft supposed to be strong/deep with?

There's some that haven't even been mentioned but so far it seems like he is. I don't think many position coach hires have been named on defense

The sad thing is this is 100% dead on.  Ugh.

I'm not that worried about the draft, if we hit on our 1st and 2nd, the rest are depth for 2021, and developmental prospects for 2022.

For 2021, it comes down to the new coaching staff coaching up players on the current roster, and Howie finding some SFA gems.

First order of business will be to review game film and see who they want to keep, won't be surprised to see a half dozen players waived over the next month or two, and more once they have the draft and sign a bunch of UDFAs and SFAs - the new coaches won't want to waste time trying to coach up scrubs they don't see as having enough upside or who are bad fits to their schemes.

That's a strong argument for trading down, collect lottery tickets and hope to hit on some late round gambles. There will be more misses this year and guys who fall through the cracks.

We haven’t hit on 1st and 2nd round picks in the same draft since 2013, but sure, let’s assume they’ll do that.

If the Eagles for some strange reason that no one can explain take a QB early there’s no way Carson is on this team. If he is he will need to go on suicide watch.

Nothing really. If I had to guess it’s strongest point is QB. Lawerence, Fields, Trask, Lance, Wilson (who is really climbing the boards) hell even Mac Jones after his performance this last season could go in round 1-2

Or like we did in the 2013 draft and stick with our top pick(pick 4) and select a star that so far has been nothing but elite even in a down year.

Ill take my chances at pick 6 lol

I think rounds 2-4 are going to be really good for safeties.
