Takeaways from this PC:

- Sirianni seems like a nice guy.

- He might be Vince Lombardi, he might be Rich Kotite, or he might be anything in between.

- He's not the one at the controls and he's well aware of who is in charge, just like when Doug started.

I don't know why you would be surprised that the GM is in charge? Give me an example where the GM is not in charge. The GM should try to facilitate the wishes of the head coach but that doesn't change the fact that they are in charge. This is not meant has an endorsement of Howie - just refuting your insinuation that Sirianni HC as subordinate to Roseman GM in some way makes him a puppet.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Nailed it

He does it every time there’s a new coach presser. He’s so predictable and it’s like an obscure question to try and see like he did research but in reality it’s just a ridiculous question.

This guy talks a lot but doesn't really say anything.

So he's basically just like every other coach in the league then.

Isn't that pretty much all of them?

Well at least eskin’s second question was a good attempt lol.

LOL  Follow up Carson Wentz   Carson Wentz  Carson Wentz  Carson Wentz  Carson Wentz  Carson Wentz  Carson Wentz

F'ing Eskin

Asks question that has nothing to do with Wentz

"As a follow up, Carson Wentz is he coming back or not?"

Good Lord Howard.  He's answered 15 Carson questions and that's your 1 follow up question.

non committal on Wentz. <Haters>    WENTZZZZZ ISZZZZZZ GONZZZZZZZZ!!!!!!!

Give him credit at least his second question was something all of us care about unlike the ridiculous first question about veteran coaches win divisions

Lol lets be honest here though. That's the only thing anyone really cares about. Whether he's choosing Wentz or not

Non committal on Wentz.  That say's a lot.

Why would he commit to either QB today.  If they are going to trade one of them ( Hurts ) it lowers the trade value when you commit to the other guy.

Ok that was a good question by kempski

Howie has say over the 53?

Howie has final say of the 53

Oh yuck....Howie has final say on 53...

And finally an answer with some substance

Howie has final over 53

Nick has final say over gameday

Oh I disagree . McMahon wasn't a great stat guy but he was a winner. The entire offense played better when he was the QB then with any of the other 3 (Besides RC). 8 - 3 as starter.

I was a wee little tot back then, so first hand recollection isn't the best.  His arm was at least respected, so yes the O played a lot better, but essentially the running game carried them back then IIRC.  Better than average replacement, kinda like a Fitz/Keenum type (minus the lightning in a bottle every once in a while) might be a better description.  Him staying healthy wouldn't have changed anything IMO though.

Naw we are drafting trey lance romance.

So Howie has control over the 53 man roster but Sirianni calls the shots on the game day roster.

It is clear that he will have to pick a QB and go forward.  He mentioned multiple times that he designs the offense around his QB.   Wentz and Hurts need to run two different offenses and he will not be able to implement both offenses so by his own answers I think they have to pick one or the other and move forward.

Well at least we got that one question answered clearly

Not even an hour long and Lurie rambled for 20 minutes of it

Howie having say of the 53 is the sound bite they needed to run with a few stories.
