I feel better about myself about going to any interview after that press conference. Thanks Nick!

But job interviews are generally one on one, you are sitting.  Kind of like this the other day.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

I have no idea what this means

Saleh is a 10 and Sirianni is a 7 on a good day.

2018 is very underrated by fans because our record but Wentz was pretty good.

2018 his QB rating was 7th and his QBR was 12th  Watson for reference was 6th in QB rating and 13th in QBR

2019 his QB rating was 13th and his QBR was 11th  Waton for reference was 11th in QB rating and 7th in QBR

So yes he was top 10ish in 2018/2019 if you agree or not.

Don't forget

2018, set Eagles single season completion percentage record

2019, set Eagles single season passing yardage record.

And what does this have to do with 49ers hiring Undlin?

We can go in circles on this one so maybe I should cease. He was mediocre in 2018 when it mattered (Tennessee, Minnesota, Dallas, New Orleans etc). He was even worse in 2019 in our losses (Detroit, Atlanta, New England, Seattle, Dallas, Minnesota) and some of our victories (Jets).

Yes, the stats show a better story and I myself made the same argument that you are making last year. But after this season, it’s clear that something is very wrong with Carson and there were signs that this was coming over the last few years that I ignored.

There are coaches who have final say on final 53 ,tampa hc ,Patriots hc,Seahawks hc just to name a cpl

He may have a great mind for the game but he's not a great coach for the game.

Shannon can be such a clown. I get he wants change but embarrassing someone like this isn’t the way to go about it.

Did Sirianni say anything about Reagor?

He's a good player that can play or some other bland  statement.

Wentz can be fixed, part of it is him owning up and realizing he has to work on his mechanics, but I think last season was a heck of a wake up call.

But most of it is simply putting him into a position to succeed.

I knew Doug lost it when he was running those stupid plays with Hurts at QB and Wentz split wide, made zero sense and DCs quickly figured it out.

What would have made sense was a limited RPO package for Hurts to run for a series or two a game to give him experience and force DCs to prepare for it. But that was Doug.

Sirianni isn't going to devise an offense that asks Wentz to run the RPO, it'll be a variant of the Reich Indy offense, built around the run game and short passing game, an upgraded version of the AR WCO that he brought here last decade. One where the ball gets out in under 3 seconds on a regular basis, and sets up shots downfield. With the talent we have on the OL, Wentz won't take a lot of punishment and will have a secure pocket he can trust, and have receivers run routes that don't take 4 seconds to develop. He'll be able to get into a rhythm at the start of games, and then expand the playbook out as the defense tires (one purpose of the run/short passing game is to wear down the DL so you can use longer developing plays).

Sirianni has no problem giving his QB freedom if he earns it, if you've worked with Luck and Rivers you're used to your QB audibling at the LOS.

And wanted one last taste of Nate Unstoppable Sudfeld

He did that to give Nate a chance to put up some current film.  Hurt in 2019 camp and no 2020 camp plus a FA at the end of the 2020 season.  Despite what the talking heads say, it was a righteous move.  I understand, Hurts wanting another shot.  Considering how poorly he was playing that game, that’s great. But after the players sat down afterwards and thought about why the Eagles did that, they probably thought it was a player friendly move.

You can't be nervous for your first press conference, but you can have an extensive criminal record. Unbelievable logic.

He’s also not one to talk. He stutters all the time on the show.

Patriots, duh.

Seattle, same, long history of success.

Arians in TB, I'd have to see a source. Jason Licht gave control to him?

New HC?  Even AR wasn't given that in KC.

This is a pointless question to ask because he is clearly talking out of his ass, but how was this press conference scripted? Seems to me he fielded a bunch of questions from the media. I don't think they are pre-screened.

IF* that’s the way Shannon Sharpe writes, what must his SAT scores have been like?

When a school wants you to catch a ball, nothing you don’t know how to do can mess it up.

Nobody is drafted or signed by bucs without  bruce signing off..bruce saved Jason's job...the two of them are friends from AZ days

.listen to enough press conferences from bruce or jason and its obvious who has the final say.

Lovie smith hired jason as the GM, lovie had final say too, only with kotter did jason make the calls.

Shannon Sharpe has absolutely ZERO room to talk.  My goodness these people are just relentlessly filled with hate.  Shannon, you did nothing but play football to earn a gig on TV.  You sound like you have marbles in your mouth half the time.  I don't think there is one talking head I like or respect anymore.  All of them just spew trash.

Sirianni knows how good Wentz can be, he went over film of the 2017 Eagles with Reich in installing the Indy offense.

But I'm sure he's going to be noncommittal about everything until he has a month or two to study film.

Like watching every play of Reagor, and seeing the mistakes he made (as a former WR coach) and what can be fixed. Same with the other WRs.

Looking at Wentz and Hurts. Their strengths and weaknesses.

Sitting down with Stoutland and discussing the personnel, break downs and how the OL can be integrated into the offensive scheme.

And so on.

He'll probably also have Gannon look over offensive game film as part of self-scouting.

It'll be boring for a while.

Then Sirianni, the pro scouts, the college scouts, and top personnel guys will sit down with Howie and map out the offseason strategy in terms of personnel.

Who to dump, what to expect from the draft and so on. Then put the draft board together. Then have the draft, a few SFA signings, a trade or two.

And that's when we'll get a feel where they're headed as a team.

Just because he isnt a great public speaker , at this point  , doesn't mean he cant coach.

He will get more comfortable as he does more press conferences.

I think we can say with certainty that the Eagles didn't start the coaching search looking to hire Nick Sirianni. The whole rumour was that that they wanted McDaniels from the jump.

I think he would have done better if Lowie hadn't told him he needed to give a 20 minute speech. He answered the questions pretty well an was straight forward.

Because he looks like Prince Harry.

I think you're right.  We will get insight to how they are thinking about the roster when we get information on the prospects they are meeting with and scouting.

Reading from his notes didn't help, should have just let him let it rip ,hell with the  scripted stuff.
