I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

I'll never forget doug in a big game situation trotting Butler out after being on the roster for a week and throwing him a fade, and having butler look totally out of sync with Wentz and confused and have the play fail and eagles lose.

Brilliant move doug...🤔

No, you trade back, pick up a 2nd.

You trade Goedert for a 2nd and a 4th.

You trade Ertz for a 4th.

Now you have 3 2nd round picks and 2 4ths.     You also save on having to extend Goedert for $60 million.

If you don't want Pitts in the 1st you can still make all 3 trades, maybe get PS2 in the first and then one of the B10 tight ends later in the draft.

I don't want to give up on Goedert yet. Also what makes you think he's going to get $60M? I don't know when he's due for a new contract but there's no way he's getting $60M

Okay so I watched B.G.'s presser, seems he knew that Suds was going to play. Were the "enraged" players just stupid?

Um.... Yes.

Everyone knew that they were going to put in Sudfeld at some point... Even Chris Collinsworth and Al Michaels knew.  It was reported a few DAYS before the game as well.    I suppose the players might have felt with the score being tight, that might change.  But frankly, the score being close had FAR more to do with Washingteam ineptitude and a QB on one leg than stellar play by the Eagles.

I think the misconception is that everyone sees the TE label.  Why can't he be a WR1?

I guess he could though not sure he's shown that ability in college.

It would be par the course for doug and co to take a player and put him in situations he's not accustomed to being in.

Like lining up your rookie 5'10" WR against a teams number one corner and throwing him a back shoulder fade a pattern that I'm not sure he ever ran at TCU but hey let's try it in the pros, he showed he wasn't adept at it in college maybe he'll fare better against nfl dbs...🤔

That was the moment I gave up on Doug.   Being forced to use players is one thing... but that was just beyond stupid.  In a critical spot, game on the line, chance to turn the season around... put in a play for a guy who's never had a snap?   1 option play too.   There's no second choice on a fade either.

What about your team?  Roethlisraper isn't getting any younger.

We're trading Hurts to them for 15 firsts

Everything coming out of the Novacare lately is just so exhausting.

Listen, Lurie, please. Please.. Fing please get things under control. Can't you see how bad it's gotten? There was dysfunction under Chip. There was dysfunction at the end of the Reid era. There is dysfunction now.

Don't you see the constant?

So far the only two outspoken players were sanders and Wallace, so probably.

I would ship sanders off if he's gonna mouth off to the media when he sees something he doesn't like while he sits on the sidelines with yet another injury

Meh, Sanders just said he was shocked, which adds to his stupidity label.

I told my brother in law and Father in law that the Steelers really should look at getting into the Wentz sweepstakes.

They need to take Ben out behind the shed.

They don't want to have Rudolph for the future?

Hmm I dunno, Steve from Delco said Kelce was throwing haymakers and had to have the entire offensive line hold him back. He then had Doug in a rear naked choke while calling him a cracker

The worst outcome is keeping all of Howie/Doug/Wentz/Hurts...and that seems to be a possibility. *Sigh*

I would rather they keep Wentz absent some big deal for him.  I just am not convinced on Hurts and I hope Wentz can return to form.  To me, keeping all of the above means there's no excuses for next season.  It's not like firing just Doug right now gets rid of Howie or necessarily fixes the QB situation.  I think Lurie would have to fire everyone absent some turnaround next season.  I think that is the surest way to get rid of Howie.

He also said "nobody liked the decision, nobody". IMO you keep that stuff on house, especially if your ass has been firmly glued to the bench because you have a soft tissue injury every 2 games.

Sanders is good (when he plays) but between the constant injuries and now his apparent stupidity I've become pretty annoyed with him this season

There were talks about dealing him at the trade deadline this past year along with dealing julio. I think they are ready to just move on tbh. Matt Ryan has amazing stats when you look at it on the surface. But when you watch it Lanae there’s games where they just look like crap when Julio Jones is an out there and they put up a bunch of garbage time stats in some games with him.

The Falcons make no sense to me whatsoever.  We can point to their defensive woes, but based on the injuries we've experienced along with our horrific secondary, I have trouble believing they are any worse.  Difference is they are absolutely loaded with nothing but weapons on that offense, and they continue to suck year after year.

I think the odds of wentz getting at least back to 2019 levels are far greater than hurts becoming a longtime starter. I hope wentz stays, he played like complete ish this year but I truly believe it's an outlier.
