Eagles 2021 current cap liabilities per over the cap: $264,102,304

that means we'll be 84 mil over the cap?

Only top 51 count. That’s 251m. That also doesn’t include 30m carry over. If it’s 180m then we will be 41m over the cap.

I personally think it will end up still being at least 190m. I think the odds of it being 198.2m like it was set is better than 180m.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Idk desean Jackson was drafted when mcnabb was there. And desean was good his rookie year with mcnabb. They got to the nfc title game. And Maclin’s rookie was mcnabb’s last year here. So he drafted them before mcnabb was gone. I’ll also disagree he’s Goff. I feel like Goff has better WRs in kupp and woods then the eagles had from 2000-2003. If mcnabb had hill and kelce like mahomes I’m guessing the eagles win more than one nfc title game in the early 2000s

I also wonder what the offense would've looked like if Reid ended up with Wilson instead of Foles like he had wanted.

Field Yates has the carryover at $22.75M

A look at how much cap space each NFL team rolled over to 2021, from the Browns ($30,366,604) to the Ravens ($586,822). The NFL will audit these amounts after calculating incentives and cap credits from this year. The final amounts will be added to each team's cap for 2021.

Could also say how would the offense look when everyone got healthy (2012 everyone got hurt) and foles in his second year under reid.  It wound up working in the Eagles benefit that chip Kelly came in because they kind of went back to that well ans foles played like he did in 2013 on that Super Bowl run

Can thank bringing back Jason peters into eating more rollover. They really were better off just not bringing him back.

Overthecap shows we have $30,171,611. Again to goes off the top 51. He is doing the math off the entire roster.

The NFL added playoff games and a 17th game. They are gonna borrow money from the future or it’s going to cripple middle range veterans. NFLPA won’t let that happen. If the cap is set at 180m in 21 it will probably jump 40m to 220m in 22. Thats just not gonna happen. I wouldn’t be surprised if the cap is even 200m in 2021.

We rolled over 20 plus million from 2020, but still not good.

For those who were around in 1980, did some great chaos happen that year?

Point I'm trying to make is that fans should get used to the idea of trading away some of the older, high cost players if not this year then next.  BG, Lane, Ertz even Slay.

The reason I'm against taking a tackle in the top 10 this year is because they invested trading up in to the first for Dillard and 4 years developing Mailata.  I'm not a Dillard fan but I would much rather see if the guy has it or not.  If there's a chance Dillard and Mailata can be your bookends once Lane is gone then you put that faith in them and Stout.

Get a dynamic player or trade back to get more picks.

Figure by 2023, 3 seasons from now at least 2 of Kelce, Brooks and Lane will not be with the team and maybe all 3. Wherever the value is with finding at leas t one of these guys replacements if not 2. Who knows Kelce could just call it quits this year. Last year was F’d up, no Brooks, Dillard and with Lane and Seamulo missing lots of time. I agree with you, not using a 6 on a T but not really based on we invested too much there but that I’d take my chances with Dillard, Mailata, Lane and Driscoll, rebuild year anyways. Think tradeback more candidates in the house. Premium pick Chase, Parsons, Pitts, Caleb ???

Kind of reminiscent of Quez Watkins.  They've both got the quez in their name, so I'm going to double down on the comparison.

I think day 3 unless someone falls in love with his speed.   He is nowhere near as quick as Toney but he has great speed.  Body catches like Quez and has an occasional drop. UH lined him up in the backfield some.  Good on sweeps.  Dynamic PR.  I would be apprehensive if I was a secondary and faced Reagor, Quez, Marquez,  with Boobie or Scott.  That’s some speed that will result in a mismatch somewhere.

You got me on my soapbox now. Why I believe they should undo the separation of church and state.  People actually learn and are competent at different speeds. It's silly to have a teacher that has no connection to a student to be in that position. If Churches we're judge and jury of a trade or education period it would be far more effective. And we wouldn't look at pastors and churches as pimps. I don't understand how church and school got this far being ineffective.

until TO our best reciever for Mcnabb was Chad Lewis

A salary cap of 180M is bad news for all parties, so of course the NFL is going to do that.

Carolina apparently offered pick 8 for Stafford. Perhaps we could interest them in an unused 6th overall pick?

Going from 8 to 6 costs a 2021 3rd. I'd gladly do that.

Wait so you want to offer a 6 to obtain Stafford?

I want to trade down from 6 to 8 so Carolina can move up for a rookie QB.

Okay, that makes a little more sense.

I'd love to trade back. I have zero faith in Howie drafting any super star at 6, so I'd like to drop back and acquire more picks for Howie to blow.

I have zero faith in him drafting a superstar anywhere in the draft though. And I have zero faith that he will use the extra picks wisely.
