I think you knew that answer when he and bean counter had their press conference yesterday.

I'm in denial.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

He might be the least NFL ready/raw prospect this team has ever drafted.  Based on that, along with how quickly this coaching staff develops players, he should be ready for special teams spot duty by 2028.

Gonna mark it on my calendar, looking forward to his breakout game!

Doug could have said no.

Why would he do that?
He likely just got job assurance & along with it was told "hey we’d prefer to lose this game”. You think Doug goes rogue there? Cmon.

Unacceptable. Golden Tate all over again.

My belief is that the Eagles are going to draft a tight end at some point in this draft. My guess is around 4 to 7 and bring back dick rod. I am not opposed to trading Dallas Goedert. I love the player but not willing to overpay for him when he’s had trouble staying healthy and I’m guessing he knows if he gets to free agency some team likely overpays him like Cleveland did with hooper

Agreed.

Now I wonder...do you think Ertz would take a hometown discount to stay or does he still see himself as deserving top dollar?  He clearly loves it here.  Does he see this organization as a total clusterfudege?  I would be all for Ertz on an extension that lessens his cap hit and bringing in a young TE in the middle rounds.

At this point if he took lesser of a contract to come back here the question becomes is he gonna be pouty if he winds up playing well again here, asking for a better contract and let it affect his play. As much as I love Ertz I just think it’s time for him to move on and the organization to go into another direction

Worse than Golden Tate.

Yikes..what in the world is this coaching staff doing.

Not in Philly. Any word yet on the "exit" interviews?

My god that's ugly reading to be honest...

He already turned a contract extension down before the season started. Likely now he's not getting another offer. That said he's still under contract.

Oh he's definitely not getting another offer. They can't afford to. He's under contract so unless they get a decent offer i think they'll bring him back. Now if he decides to hold out that's another matter but I can't see them redoing his contract.

Not surprising. How many times did we say that all year they didn’t maximize their players strengths. Just re-iterates how much they didn’t.

I have to say... Does anyone know why Press Taylor apparently spent some time on Sunday on the sideline with Carson and Sudfeld? And apparently not much time with Hurts at all? I mean what's that all about.

Only the Eagles will draft a guy because he fits their bs scheme better and then never use him correctly. The kid returned a punt for a TD and then they gave the job to Ward who has never made it past the 40 in his career.

The Eagles were secretly tanking this year or the coaching staff is just one big collection of dumba***s. The choice is yours

Did Miles really need to chime in and add fuel to the fire?  Good lord man

And Im glad Wentz has remained silent.  The FO needs to figure this out and he can do nothing by opening his mouth

IDK what are your thoughts?

He sealed his fate here by dogging this season, brought a terrible effort to the table. If he wasn't such a mopey bish this season maybe they could have worked out a new deal. If he really loved playing here he would have taken the offer they gave or played for a new one. Instead he mailed it in, he can cry his crocodile tears and say how much he loves the city but he didn't show it this season.

What's pathetic is we had a committee of OCs that were supposed to figure it out but couldn't

I have no idea... I find it bizarre. I find it a little troubling to be honest. Press Taylor should be fired, he should have been fired the second that game finished.

The coaching this year was brutal.  They don't know how to use players to their strengths or they just don't care to, either way it's a joke.

Its actually quite scary isn't it. I mean the fear before the year was there may be so many different opinions and approaches that it all becomes confusing. But there wasn't one single creative thing despite all those minds?

Are you sure? thought it was closer to the last week of the regular season

I think it is a couple of weeks after the season.  I tried to look up the last one, but I'm not finding it.

Looking at youtube Eagles channel:

2020: didn't speak until June when he made statements about racial injustice.  The pandemic might have affected him doing a PC earlier?
2019: March (btw he said that they want to get back to drafting a QB every other year at least and always have QBs coming in if not this year the next)
2018: August (this was after winning the SB)
