What's pretty crazy about Mike Vick is that you still associate him as being a Falcon for the majority of his career.  Truth is, he played 6 seasons for the Falcons and 5 for the Eagles.  Pretty crazy to think that he was here only 1 less year than with ATL.

Those of us who actually know the Eagles probably realized this stat without even having to count.  Thing is, they have the most by a long shot.

Tampa had Doug Williams, Shaun King, Josh Freeman, Josh Johnson (always liked him), Byron Leftwich and Jameis Winston.

Houston only had DeShaun Watson.

Damn those racist Eagles!  Duce should have been handed the job because he has been here so long!

2nd is actually the Titans. They corrected it. Confused with Houston Oilers. I only know of McNair though.

I wonder what the game counts are.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Any shot Rondale Moore or Bateman are around in 2nd round?

Would love to trade back from 6 to 9  and acquire 41

9 - Parsons
38 - Bateman or Moore
41 - Tyson Campbell
70 - Daviyon Nixon

I don’t see Bateman getting to us at 38. Most places I’ve seen at the moment project him around 16-30. Maybe he does i don’t expect it.

Warren Moon...that makes more sense because Watson only has like 54 or so.

Goodness... I come back after 3 days away from this place and in the span of about a dozen posts, find someone worry of the ignore list.

Well he's a moron.  Because he's a bad teammate and the other players don't like him.  Duh...

I blame mcnabb errrr Carson.

it’s clear common sense Carson is preventing grown men from welcoming nick sirianni as head coach on social media.

Already ahead of you.

Why would he do that anyways? It's not like Sirianni just won us another super bowl. For all he knows he could turn out to be a flop.

He's become an ego-maniac, frankly.

And have more games coached by black HCs than most of the league.

The Eagles won the Super Bowl in 2017. They have made the playoffs three out of the last five seasons. They are the 6th winningest franchise in the NFL over the last 20 years. Listening to the way the majority of fans and media talk about this team you would think they were the Jaguars or something. It's getting to ridiculous levels.

You missed the new theory when you were away. The other team leaders and majority of players didn’t welcome nick sirianni on social media cause they didn’t want to make wentz look bad. Once again Carson’s fault on how other players use their social media accounts.

Just last week they complained about him not answering reporters’ questions.

To be fair, the complaint was that he got to go on a 20 minute self-congratulatory diatribe, and then didn't take questions.   I don't think anyone would have cared if he just came out and said, "After a long search, we've decided to hire Nick Sirianni as HC...."  Gave a quick bio on Nick, and then turned it over to him.    But he didn't do that.

When he talks, he should be accountable to questions.  If he doesn't want to answer questions, then just put out a press release.

Agreed. Why did it take him over 5 minutes to even first really mention Sirianni? Why did he feel the need to give this big speech about Duce when he didn't give Duce a fair crack at the job.

Oh, I saw it... and made the call quick.

The problem Carson, and many have, is that when they utilise the socials for their own brand and causes they want to promote, they open themselves to scrutiny when they go silent all of a sudden and something like a new coach hire happens.  Perhaps if you are a team leader/Alpha, then the expectations and perceptions of them are higher.  Carson can't win but I'd think, an external acknowledgement with a caveat such as breaking my silence to welcome Coach Sirianni to the Eagles, before going dark is a better way to go than saying nothing.

But so be it.  It doesn't bother me either way in all honesty.

Not sure why you'd say Duce didn't get a fair crack.   Has any other team given Duce even a sniff at either OC or HC interview?   Nah...  Duce was given an interview... again.   Maybe he just doesn't interview well.  We don't know what he says when in that interview.  And no one else has brought him in.   This idea that Duce is some hot ticket and should have been moved up the chain makes no sense to me.   If this had been an amazing offense, then maybe you hire from that pipeline.  BUT... since the offense was brutal, why in the world should they hire from that pipeline?  That wouldn't be a fresh start, or new ideas.

I think this is spot on. Look Carson is seen as a leader so let's just ignore the actions of other senior players on this team and just look at Carson. I think he should have welcomed the new HC, I think every leader on this team should have because that's just the way it is these days. By not welcoming the new HC it generates buzz. These players know this.

I don't disagree with you but then why gush over him at a PC where you are introducing your new HC?

I don’t disagree with your point he could have done that and it would’ve reflected better. However I also looked on Twitter to see what players said anything. The vast majority of the Eagles said nothing. Legitimately I checked 25 players who were starters or key cogs on the Eagles. I only saw lane Johnson and Alex Singleton say anything.  I feel like this is a witchhunt to just pile on because certain people have agendas and can add onto Carson Wentz is this and that which has come out recently

Give him steady play at corner and he can be a good safety.  I'm on board with Jalen MIlls.  Give me Paris Ford in the draft.  Marcus Epps actually ranked pretty high in games he played.

Gannon is still a bit of an unknown but if he does anything similar to what he's been around his whole career that means you are using Mills as more of a deep coverage Safety and not closer to the line like he was under Schwartz. Pass.

Social media...   sigh.   It's not a big deal.    Everyone wants celebrities to act on Social media the way that they want.  Who is the egomaniac?  Is it the celebrity who goes tight-lipped or the follower that gets bent out of shape when the celebrity doesn't act like a trained pony and do exactly what they want them to?
