Time will tell if Wentz more publicly embraces his role in the organization or not. Not what you added.

A franchise qb is a leader in a unique category on a team, at least I think so.

It is not blame. Regarding Wentz it is a question of expectations given the players status, context of what happened in the past and current context of change within the organization. What would a franchise qb be expected to do in this situation? The blame part that you are focusing on was simply conjecture about why other players might not be speaking out and it is an opinion. You don't think it might make Wentz look bad or fuel the "he's unhappy with the organization" narrative if other team leaders rolled out the welcome wagon and he didn't? This isn't blaming Wentz, if anything, it's speaks to the other team leaders being loyal and respectful of his situation.

I don’t think the other players give a flying F about posting or not on social media because of the Carson Wentz situation. Other teams had disgruntled QBs saw their leaders post things and not care. I don’t think they have their world revolve around Carson like you think they do. Again your excuses for other team leaders and players was lame

They get paid by the Philadelphia Eagles and the owner of the Philadelphia Eagles. Which by all accounts is not Carson Wentz.  So I ask myself who do the players wanna butter up more: Carson Wentz or the owner? I think it’s pretty obvious that they’re probably going to go with the owner and not Carson Wentz so that they can keep lining their pockets up with money. So I’m guessing it probably would’ve behoove them to accept sirianni and say welcome in the eyes of our owner Jeffrey Lurie. I also think the leaders would be leaders to step up in Carson’s absence for the betterment of the team if we are going to go that route.

also I love how you somehow completely changed the topic of the discussion from what it started as. It went from he hasn’t welcome Nick Sirianni to now it’s a whole bunch of different leaderships things or we don’t hold him accountable for performance which I’ve never discussed. I said there’s a bunch of players who have not said anything and yet they are considered leaders and you don’t say squat simply cause they weren’t benched or owed 100 million (which one was and you’d expect him to say something as a BIG leader).

So you’re willing to make excuses for everyone else on the team and team leaders as to why they didn’t publicly welcome sirianni on social media but not Carson Wentz. So really you think you don’t have some sort of agenda when other players who i consider big Voices in the locker room, leaders did the same thing. So maybe we should hold all team leaders to the same social media standards then. I know what a concept holding all the team leaders to the same standard of welcoming him or not welcoming him regardless of outside circumstances. But hey let’s give excuses for players we like right now and bash the ones we don’t like in the moment.

i’m done having the conversation with you. Have a good day don’t need to read your moving of the goal posts and Carson/situation controlling social media on the eagles team. Bye

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Never watched that show...before my time.  But I remember it being on.  The real question is how the hell did you produce that screeenshot?

I actually found it on Google. I was trying to find the gif of it. I own the collection it’s not very big. It’s a pretty good show if you like jon lovitz.

Is he talking about at CB or S? I can see at CB it benefiting him, but at S?

I'll take him back at a low 2 year deal.

Also has to stand for something for him to want to come back here.  For all of those people saying no one will want to come play for a toxic organization.  Mills has lived through it and isn't catching the next bus out of town.

He's a serviceable player and has developed in to a leader.

That’s an eagles P***s!

I always liked his attitude but his play sucked. Maybe the new coaches on defense can do something

I thought you were talking about Jamal Adams for a second.  Ha!

I'd welcome Jalen Mills back.  He's cheap, can play multiple positions at a slightly less than adequate level, and he has swag for no reason.  While that last sentence seems sarcastic, I really would welcome him back.  He was the least of our problems last season.  And did I mention he's cheap?

:roll:  The second I saw that hat (one that I would probably buy also), that was the first scene I thought of.

I kind of want to see him go to the Browns to see if he will just dye his hair brown.

It has taken me a while to track one down. They are super rare to find. It’s why when i saw it i bought it. 3 years back i was like I’m not spending that type of money on that hat. It took three years to reappear so i was like f it lol.

Mccoy had some nice things to say about miles

I never knew the number, but it doesn't surprise me. Not pictured are also Vince Young who only started a few, and Rodney Peete who started about a season's worth or so.

I have a hard time getting excited about Miles Sanders because there's a 99.9% chance he's only here for one more year and they trade him before he wants a new deal.

Sound pretty accurate to be honest. Frankly i thought his pass protection/blitz pickup and receiving (when it wasn’t on wentz) dropped from his rookie year. I’d love to get another back in rounds 4-5 to go along with him. Granted we’d have to get a 4th we basically set on fire when we traded it for Avery

How insulting to eagles great Jeff Blake lol

Well at least the other philly teams are looking somewhat bright

That's fine with me.  I hope he leads the league in rushing this year and some team close to winning offers the Eagles too much to pass up.  The other option..... and unfortunately I see it going this way......the value of RBs continues to plummet (and rightfully so), he continues to get soft tissue injuries from an aggressive Saturday morning dump, and he's waddles his way to a mediocre/decent 2nd contract somewhere else.

It’s pretty discouraging that from their last 3 drafts their first and second round picks have been hit with injuries. Goedert had some the past couple years that were nagging ones. Then this year. Sanders has had some nagging soft tissue injuries. Dillard out this year. Reagor missing time. And then you got JJAW and hurts where one just sucks and Hurts stayed healthy but really wasn’t ready

I usually remember these things, but I can't remember if Blake started the 04 finale, or if Koy started, and Blake came in shortly after.

He came in week 17 in 2004 where we got destroyed by cincy but koy started. I was just Making a joke. But i don’t think he ever started a game for the eagles.
