I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

I’d you don’t want to believe it until Wentz says it himself then fine, but you have a bunch of reporters saying he isn’t happy here including the one with the best track record. It doesn’t mean he’s getting traded, but there’s obviously problems that would need to be worked out if he stays.

Agree.

Just now, E-A-G-L-E-S Eagles said:

That might be a good spot, but I do not see where he showed anything that would change his draft grade.   Would we take a 3rd in return (or less)?  I don't know.  After the Eagles tossed that pick on him versus using it for a more necessary issue, they put themselves in a tough postion.

Personally, I think he is cheap and the pick was already wasted.  There is no reason to send him elsewhere without, at least, recouping a 2nd.

I wouldn’t trade them unless I got a second round pick back. It makes no sense now that you already spent the second any cheap for three more years to just trade them away for less than that. Again the four-game sample size and you have to account for the fact the Eagles offense even with him out there was not ran particularly well by Doug and his staff. So I’m guessing New England if they wanted him probably feels Josh McDaniels and their coaching staff could get more out of them than what the Eagles did.

Honest question, outside of Schefter and Mort, has there been any other reporter that has alluded to Wentz isn't happy without citing Schefter/Mort or the fact he hasn't spoken to the media?

No- you are correct.

IMHO - What makes a troll-

when they only talk about 1 thing, and it's a negative position, that goes against logic and reason, defies factual evidence, and they usually have no other input into any other discussions, they only show up and talk about "X".

With some that subject is race, others it's a political stance, with you it might be Wentz.  To be fair, I don't know if this is the only thing you post about, what I can say is, it's the only topic I have seen you post about without looking through your history.

You be the judge, are you a troll?

I try to avoid the Wentz conversation now to be honest with you, but it comes up so often and some folks IMO are so unreasonable about it that I am compelled to respond... Can't wait for March so this will all hopefully be over.

POST OF THE DAY. haha.

Bernadette Peters was such perfection in the 70s.

Looking at the QB landscape for 2021, I believe Wentz stays in Philly, Watson will force his way out to the Jets, Garappolo returns to NE, DAL keeps Dak (either by overpayment or tag), and the draft might go as follows:

1. Lawrence to Jax

2.  Sewell to HOU (they acquire Darnold in the Watson trade)

3.  Devonta Smith to MIA

4.  Parsons to ATL (Ryan is $41M on the cap, and $25M in dead money even in 2022)

5.  CIN trades out with mystery team who takes QB (Wilson or Fields) — or CIN drafts Chase

6.  Eagles — have DET, CAR, and DEN behind them at 7, 8, 9 and SF at 12 who all might be in the QB market.

The only thing leading me to actually believe that Wentz doesn't want to be here anymore is Sirianni's reluctance to answer that exact question. Like I said the other day though I don't like my job every day either.

Carson Wentz hate this team so much he answers calls from Sirianni and Steichen and congratulates his teammate on twitter. Talk about disgruntled.

Meanwhile a QB that actually want's to leave hasn't talked to his new coach, has requested to be traded privately and then publicly made it known he wants to be traded.

in a sea of worms, this guy has always seemed like a reasonable person

He skipped his exit interview with the team as well.

Hate to break it to you but it'll keep happening until Wentz is gone

Then it'll start up with the next guy

Why would Bengals not draft Oline?

Could be he was told not to answer it by Howie or Lurie

I think he meant the end of the season interview with reporters

Your preferred answer: "First of all, I want to take this opportunity to thank my 2 lords and saviors, Jesus Christ and Carson Wentz. I regret showing any positive traits in 2020, and will carry water for Mr. Wentz all next season."

On a serious note, your interpretation of what Hurts said is the very definition of reaching.

Hurts answered well.  He didn’t say he was.  He said he was going to put the work in to be the best QB he can be and take the next step without defining that step, other than saying working on learning, including correcting his mistakes.  If Carson answered the question the same way, I would be happy with his response too.

It sure seemed like Doug was going to remain the HC until reports started coming out the night before he was fired (a week after the season ended) that his job actually wasn't safe.  The rest of the roster showed up for their exit interviews.

Fans like you that are in full blown denial about the relationship between Wentz and the organization is just bizarre to me.

Really good analysis. Unsurprisingly, OL/DL is the way to go.

Even if it was that doesn't change the reason behind it
