I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

and if Im the eagles, I need at least 2 1sts and 1 3rd as a start to trading Wentz. Franchise Qb's are hard to find, and even harder to get.

Dude stop

Stafford > > Wentz

Lol saw this in a group I’m in

Carson Wentz:
"..............................”

Media:
"Wentz says he hates Philly”
"Carson loves helping the Philly area”
"Wentz loves the Lord”
"Carson worships demons”
"Wentz demands a trade”
"Carson wants to stay forever”

If Wentz isn’t the QB moving forward, do they draft one in top 6? Trade for one? I don’t see Hurts being the answer.

Hurts is best suited as a backup QB.

Drafting one, only makes sense if you can get YOUR guy, same with trading for one. It could be years to get YOUR guy.

The Browns went through 32 QB's between Kosar and Mayfield

It's why ultimately its far better and easier if Wentz stays

That was the 2nd best debate ever

When I’m old and gray going to sit my grand kids down and talk to them about how there was the folesian society, the wentz washers and some mad man who wanted sudfeld to start in the playoffs

That to, but not the joke I was making.  RR, 2nd best WR on the roster.

Really good analysis. Unsurprisingly, OL/DL is the way to go.

Not 6-10.  LBs won that hands down.

Ah the philly hall of famer Reuben randle....

Clearly Kyle pitts is the way to go...

Yea, which is literally right before your quote.

KINCADE: We’ve gone back and forth, Adam, about the idea that he still hasn’t spoken. Or hasn’t even released a statement. At this point, now that the new coach —

SCHEFTER: Well, that tells you something.

Adam Schefter didn’t get his rep by throwing ish at the wall hoping it stuck.

Why didn’t you stop at ‘ESPN’?

It’s where Schefter works. The interview is from him.

Yup.  I remember saying on here there are quite a few RB who are better in the passing game than Ward.  Also remember lamenting that Rodgers was objectively a better TE than Ertz this season.

They were throwing Ward very shallow almost RB routes.  Part of the issue was the RPO with such a destroyed OL.  The problem was because of the RPO and the OL, the WRs and even TEs, we’re not getting the passes at the best time.   Maybe, just maybe, Doug, Press and company did a lousy job of play calling and our awful receivers aren’t that bad.

According to Andy Reid Eagles never asked to interview Eric Bienemy.

Thank God.  Time to stop trying to recreate the Reid years.

I mean after his agent said in a tweet about them hiring mcdaniels on MLK day I’m guessing the eagles weren’t thrilled to interview him

I personally don’t believe anything unless Jason la canfora says it.... talk about a man with deadly accuracy in his reporting

The answer in that depends on who was the main push to draft Hurts?  We know that Weidl watched him play at OU and got attached to him, but who else championed Hurts prior to Day 2 of the draft?  Fan reaction to the pick was so negative I have my doubts we will ever get a concrete answer.

Howie said he called Wentz prior to Round 2 to give him a heads-up that if Hurts was on the board at #53 (of course he would be) that he’d possibly be the pick, and the conversation "was uncomfortable” — so, even though Wentz apparently expressed a dislike of the idea, Howie went ahead and made the selection.  Doug was seen on camera immediately after the selection, happier than a pig in (slop).

If Wentz forces a trade, and the only QB brought in is one to backup Hurts then we could assume Hurts was a Howie/Weidl pick.  If the Eagles draft Trey Lance or Justin Fields (yuck), I think it would be safe to assume Doug really went to bat for the Hurts pick.

In practicality, if Wentz pushes his way out then the Eagles likely have little choice but to lay in the bed they’ve made and roll with Hurts for 1-2 years while bringing in a cheap backup veteran QB as insurance.

I found this funny by Bennett. However he went off on a ton of tweets talking about inside the athletes head and what goes on in the locker room. It’s worth reading all of them.

The only good thing in that scenario is they will have a top 5 pick next year to pick another QB

F-ing ridiculous!  What a joke of a franchise.

I mean the organization had the gall to make an independent decision and not heed the cries of the media, former players, celebrities and social media warriors.... To heck with them.

Not a fan of Sirianni but I’m glad they didn’t go after another Reid guy.

True.  I left out, if Hurts is traded it has all the appearance of Doug pounding the table for him.  In fairness, Wentz is probably an Eagle because Doug pushed hard to trade up to #2 for him as well

I really look forward to everyone losing their minds as the draft a Qb in the second round again due to wentz’s dead money hit and needing a cheap backup. Then if hurts struggles the fan base turning on him and wanting the new rookie.

I’m glad they didn’t go with mcdaniels. Frankly i believe if New England struggles on offense again this year (i think they bring back Jimmy G if the niners release or trade him) there’s a strong chance they move on from him.

That’s good. We already had Reid and Doug, it was time for something new.

The psychological part of this one is interesting

You're rooting for your teammate but when they go down you get your chance
