Yup just said the same thing. Sounds like the notorious eagles spin they want out there so people don’t question howie as much making the picks this year.

If you're Wentz, are you going to even comment before you get to sit down with Sirianni for a heart to heart?

And if you're Sirianni, are you going to sit down with Wentz before you have a chance to study film of the offense, not just Wentz but the players around him?

Maybe he wanted both Doug and Howie fired and only got one.

The fans who don’t want him anymore and the media would spin it every which way. I feel like people are just naive if they don’t believe that. This wouldn’t just happen with wentz. It happens in like every philly sport athlete or coach. At some point in time it’s gonna happen to harper, carter hart. It’s happened with embiid and giroux. The only philly athletes that might ever escape it are Brian Dawkins and possibly chase utley.

Embiid has a chance.  But I would suggest this in not exclusive to Philly.  I've lived in several major metropolitan areas and this happens in all of them.

embiid has already had it happen to him when he talked about his diet and immaturity off the court and spun it. I believe he went off social media for a couple weeks or so at its height.

don’t disagree it happens everywhere but in Philadelphia it’s definitely magnified much large. Ive lived in AZ (Tucson/phoenix), SD, LA and Philly. Philly was by far worse where people blow it up

Unrealistic with all the delicious trade backs, but I feel like there's so much needed, even with all these picks, I still wanted a better RB, WR and a TE and another quality corner maybe even a DE.... This draft makes me realize even more how trading back a fair amount really is in the best interest of rebuilding this team. We really need a boatload of positions. One guy at 6 just doesn't move the needle nearly enough. 

I love Mayfield. Dude takes over LG. If Brooks is healthy, Isaac becomes the 6th o-lineman which in a perfect world, is his spot. If not, Isaac or Jalen goes to RG. I want a top three o-line again and this is a step in that direction. Trevon is the top S.
Tuefele was too good to pass up there, the dude explodes off the ball and penetrates which I want back in the middle of the defense which is lacking. Gives us a nice three man rotation with different skills. 

Stokes was the top CB at that spot. 
Holland pairs up with Trevon to give us an enticing new duo at S. 
Surratt and McGrone adds a tough duo to the LB room which is obviously lacking. 
Wade is a versatile secondary weapon who's tough with good size and seeing him there this late I couldn't pass him up. Hawkins is our Nyhiem Hines. Williams has tremendous hands and toughness. Added a couple picks to 2022 because this is easily a two year build.

I also think the tweet his agent put out there really probably ticked off lurie. Cause it really partially singled the eagles out when it came to not hiring black coaches and in betting lurie feels like he’s done a lot to help in that area.

Denver was bad, Seattle not as much, San Fran/Oakland was fickle. I haven't lived in Philly since I graduated HS in 85 and never returned so could be Philly is the Mecca.

My sister lived in SF and Oakland now so i used to visit her more often. The warriors kind of smoothed things over during that time and the giants had their run. So they really haven’t been as vocal due to more recent success

Tbh i actually thought DC tv shows have been better than a lot of the marvel ones. Like i thought the first couple seasons of Gotham were good. Then it kind of went off the rail at the end. 

Yeah. I hate waiting week by week. Wish they would do it Netflix style and just release it all. Honestly the DC TV shows are better than the movies. You may disagree but I hate the DC movies. 
 

Funny you mentioned Gotham I actually started watching it last night 😂. I’m guessing it ends badly?
