And I assume like me, he knows it is click bait nonsense not worthy of dignifying with a response.

Listening to 975 when i was out getting coffee the amount of entitled sports fans is amazing. They demand a conclusion and for him to speak.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

I just think we have better things to do than to bash Wentz for not having a fireside chat with the media.

I don’t mind if Wentz doesn’t want to be here.  I get it.  That’s just to be human.  This is a crappy situation.

I just care if he’s committed to getting better and making the best of it.  I care that he’s an inaccurate turnover machine with garbage mechanics.

I just care about the bottom line.

That is clearly a case of a guaranteed maybe, but then on the other hand, a possibility of a definite 'I dont know', with a dash of a probable unknown with a splash of an absolute guess.

And on top of that it's not even a story or a report for the national audience to see, it's just calling into a specific cities morning sports talk radio station.

Exactly. He's just towing the middle line and speculating. And when there is an actual report or Carson actual comes out and says something, his response will be "As I've been saying from the beginning" or "Wentz and the Eagles were able to amicably air the differences and have mended their relationship."

There are some sad ass people out there.  Philly fans sound like middle school girls when the "do you like me?" note gets no response.

Make no mistake about it, he’s well aware of what is being said.

I think he's maintained that he doesn't pay attention to the media.  I think he probably isn't happy and wouldn't be unhappy if he was traded somewhere he could get a fresh start.  I doubt he is so unhappy that he would be willing to pay back some of his contract to lessen the cap hit.

Wentz is probably in his tree stand reading this shot and laughing.

So you are only using the part of the article that fits your narrative.  Got it.

I'm providing sources to back up what I'm saying.  But you seem to have completely swung from being an extreme Foles homer to an extreme Wentz homer that you don't want to hear any of it.  If/when Wentz is traded I'm sure you will be completely blindsided by it since you are for some reason in complete denial about the current situation between Wentz and the Eagles.

I never once said that Foles should be the QB over Wentz.  I did say that the season was not over and the Eagles still had a shot in the playoffs with Foles as the QB.  It must have really stung to get banned for your Foles hate, and then the guy goes on to win the Eagles only Lombardi trophy.

In regards to Wentz being traded, NOT GONNA HAPPEN.  Jeff Lurie is not going to take on the largest dead cap hit in NFL history.

He can maintain it all he wants, but he has an agent and others around him who pay attention to it for him. He knows what’s going on.

I was thinking that this morning, except he probably isn't reading lol. Guy is likely in a stand in North Dakota without his phone just enjoying his offseason in peace.

At first I also believed the reports he was asking for a trade and I was happy to ship him out until I realized it was the same people putting the same story out every other day. Now, who cares if he tweets, or does an exit interview (with the media or the team), or calls the coach?

As long as he's on the team I expect him to show up once mandatory events start happening. If he doesn't, then we have a problem. Until then I could not care any less about what he is doing in his free time.

Bigger question is if he actually cares what the fans are saying and media. I’m guessing not likely. Again fans seem to think he needs to. Frankly he doesn’t.

It may be sad, but that’s what it is to be a passionate fanatic.

If you care enough to spend money for clothes with a man’s name on the back, you probably care enough if he likes the fans or likes being a part of that specific team.

I stopped respecting the players a while ago...caring about fans, cities, or teams being liked by players went with it.  They are chess pieces.

Exactly and yet we have people on here claiming it would just be water under or over the bridge or wherever the water goes. It would be some new stupid spin and reason the next day. I love being eagles fan. But since that super bowl win a lot of them feel like they are owed and entitled to things. Also a lot of arrogance the first two seasons after winning. BLG kind of led that front with some of his tweets.

Not true these are the two most passionate fans in the entire city and i never hear them whine about the Phillies missing the playoffs for a decade and the flyers not winning a cup since the 70s

He doesn’t need to. But if he wants to be here, he’d be smart to say so. That’s obvious.

If he wants to be traded, he’s smart to stay quiet.

The biggest question is if he is going to work on his game this off season.  I'm a Wentzer but he needs to get with a QB coach, needs to gather the receivers after mini camps for a week long throwing camp.  He needs to make himself better and if he does so the team will benefit

If I were a GM I would F with these clowns' minds for days. Be telling staff to leak all kinds of crazy ish to the asshats.

I can understand frustration with a loss. Or Ben Simmons continuing to do the same thing over and over. Or bad coaching and being mad and venting. But being mad cause a player during his offseason isn’t giving you updates so you know the direction of the team is a new one.

And you damn well know if they do trade wentz and he’s salvaged all the people who wished for him to be dealt cause he’s "a baby” are going to do a 180 complaining about why did they trade him after one bad year.

Your timeline is mixed up.  I wasn't banned until late into the 2018 season.

Lurie might have to bite the bullet since he chose to keep Howie and Wentz predictably and probably rightfully has issues with Howie.  Also on top of that it is clear that Wentz is a cancerous force within that organization and if they truly want to do this big reset/rebuild then it would be best done with him out of the picture.  They will take a big cap hit but their cap is Fed no matter what this year.  I'm pretty sure if they trade him this offseason then he will be completely off their books within 2 years.

Probably be better to just demand it like watson cause i think the eagles would be more willing to trade him with hurts in the fold then the Texans without one in place. And it would help him if he asked publicly as the fans would turn on him even more and give the eagles more reason to trade him.

I respect your opinion,  but some Eagles fans just enjoy being bitter entitled a-holes and then hide behind the blue collar BS.  If they aren't miserable when they get out of bed, they just make stuff up until they are.

mmm.... not sure about it. Hes not like Embiid and Simmons with the social media. He goes to his ranch in the middle of nowhere to disconnect.

Oh i agree. Said the other day if he’s coming back i couldn’t care less about the other optics of what he says and doesn’t. All i care about is he’s working hard at his craft and fixing the things he needs too. Frankly i hope he uses all this as a chip on his shoulder to give the organization, media and fans a FU. I’d argue a lot of eagles fans would deserve for him play great in 2021 where they hop back on the wagon and then be like i want to be traded then.
