He’s been projected as a top 10 pick for a while now. It shouldn’t be that much of a surprise if he goes top 15

He's at best the 4th or 5th ranked QB this year.  Late 1st round grade imo.  If the Eagles picked him at 6 I would have a meltdown.  Lawrence, Fields and Wilson should all go before Lance.

Well according to ‘PFF Mike’, all 3 of those guys will be gone by the time we pick and 4 qbs will be selected with the first 6 picks

The thing that really pisses me the F off with Doug is I’ve been asking for Greg Ward to throw a pass any game on a trick play since he was put on the roster all the way back to his first game in 2019. So it took him all the way til week 17 in a meaningless Fing game to finally run that play. So at no other point in the season where we needed a big play to potentially help us win a game to make the playoffs he decide that he didn’t want to do it. But when it’s a meaningless game with arguably our worst offensive line he’s like you know what we should run this now 

Trey Lance is the dude who played for North Dakota State shortly after Wentz was drafted. If they really want to F over Wentz, that would be the pick

I think people are going to be surprised when there’s at least three quarterbacks that go in the top five. Lawrence and Fields are going in the top five. I would be shocked if Atlanta doesn’t take a quarterback if they move on from Matt Ryan. Frankly if they don’t I think a team like Carolina or Detroit if they move on from Matt Stafford would move up to get Zach Wilson or trey lance. Frankly I wouldn’t be all that shocked at the bengals attempt to move back if a team wants to leap frog the lions, Broncos and panthers to get a QB.

If Miami take Sewell then I think Bungles would be wise to move if there's a willing partner. I think they'd get a nice haul to move back a few spots and could still probably add someone like Smith to give Burrows a legit #1 WR.

What happened to mac Jones and trask? Lance is better than them?
I watch college ball every Saturday and have literally never heard of this Lance dude until 5 minutes ago. To be fair I’ve never watched a North Dakota state game in my life

Don't Miami badly need a LT though as well? And they'd be just as keen to protect their future QB. It's a trade that makes sense for Cincy for sure and hey if Miami can get good value for #3 then why not.

I think Mac Jones from most mocks I’ve seen has been projected as a top 15-20 player. Most of the mocks I’ve seen from Trask has been a late round first to early second round. Now as the process happens I’m guessing there’s a chance trask moves up

I have seen ranked as high as the 2nd QB prospect before the 2020 season.  CBS has him as the 12th overall prospect.  PFF has him as the 6th overall prospect and 2nd QB prospect currently.

Miami could use a lot of things on offense. Devante Parker is good. Preston Williams looked OK before he got hurt. But they could use play makers on that team. They have one at tight end. And Parker is a good wide receiver. But they don’t have a big-time play maker on that offense.

I am guessing if they stay at three they go Sewell cause they could use oline like you said. However the Dolphins might look at this as we are just going to take the best available player at 3 which might be Sewell or chase to them and then with their other first rounder at 18 take a position along the oline or WR. i think the pick at 18 if it is wr is likely going to be waddle or Bateman based off most mocks at the current moment

Trey lance has been a top 15 prospect basically all season. There shouldn’t be any sort of revelation for people. If people followed mock drafts throughout the course of the season he’s almost always been in the top 15 and most of the time he’s in the top 10. I actually am of the belief there’s going to be four quarterbacks taken in the top 10 of this draft.
