I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

I would think they could open camp to at least some degree. If you can play games and travel from city to city, then I don't see why they can't open at least somewhat for camp. It's the same players in a group which is easier to manage vs. teams playing other teams. Maybe scale the practice sessions down.   I'm guessing this is more of a NFL and NFLPA agreement issue, then the NFL just feeling they can't open.

What?!  You have been one of the most vocal about him not doing a post season presser and how wrong it was that he didn't speak.  He's a leader, yada, yada, yada...you raged for weeks about that.

Because of the rumours and constant stories that has brought about. If he'd have spoken then all these reports would have been dampened.

2019, set Eagles franchise record for passing yardage without a single receiver over 1k yards

And no WR over 500 yards

Asking for a trade and being open to being traded are 2 different things.

I think that’s where we’re at right now. Has he asked for a trade? Probably not (yet). Would he like to he traded? I think so.

You may have been around a while in your book but I have been around a while longer and that's a fact.

Because people with more miles on the clock always know best.

It's cute you believe that.

the truth is, if he did come out and say he wanted to be here, someone would just say, he is just saying that, or there would be an anonymous report about how he still isn't happy. It never ends, hasn't since I can remember. As far back as I can remember every QB in Philly always had rumors around them. It's kind of what the media does here.

Hell Mike Schmidt anyone?

Own your take, bud.  You pretending that you don't care if Carson speaks out is like bobbywizdum claiming to have wanted Wentz over Foles.Complete BS.

Know what best? That a lot of media types make up crap? Evidently we do.

Ok you guys win. I'm out. I'm done.

I'm sure Howie literally listens to calls on every player

If that’s the case, Howie should have a deal completed as soon as the GM says, "Hey Howie, I’m calling about Nate Ger...”

No one is saying that rumors or whatever would disappear into the night’s sky, but there is zero doubt it would take the temperature down quite a few degrees. His silence makes it worse.

It’s clear he isn’t 100 percent wanting to return to Philly. I think it’s wild that people can’t acknowledge that his silence means something. You guys are burying your heads in the sand here.

Your post count certainly proves that.  You may want to change your name to MaxiPad.

In Philadelphia you have the thrill of victory and the agony of reading about it the next day - Mike Schmidt.

Agreed. I think they could do it. Kind of surprised the teams haven't come together to make sure everything is safe so it can still be done. Can't imagine they want to go into the draft with a ton of unknowns because of no combine

Maybe, or just maybe he doesn't feel the need to share his feeling about returning with a buncha morons. As Big E said he's not that vocal on twitter

If someone made that call, Howie would be working on ways to totally fleece him.  Any GM how calls with an offer for Gerry is an idiot.

If they can have games, practice and the like then they can have camp.  You have to wonder about some of the decision making that goes on, especially with the amount of testing they go through.

NHL and NBA the coaches are on the bench wearing masks while the players are in contact all game long.  NBA players sweating on each other but the bench is spread out so they sit 6 feet apart...please explain how this makes sense.

I think only 1 FBS team didn't play this year so you had college athletes playing a full contact sport all year long yet they can't figure out a way to have 300 guys go to the combine?

No Pro Bowl (not that any of us care). Despite 17 weeks of NFL football plus the playoffs.

Still so many Covid related decision making questions to be answered.

So who should be the Eagles QB? If only there a logical choice... oh wait...

I think it's hilarious that you READ into the situation, like you are. Wentz was never a guy who has a ton to say publicly in the first place. He may not be happy in Philly, or he may only have been unhappy with Doug, he may be just unhappy with the media and the fans who listen to the unsubstantiated reports (which I could completely understand, in which case he is trolling all of you)

the thing is, only Wentz knows. and some of you are like little petulant children about the fact that he isn't telling you.

Thats hilarious, and if I am Wentz, I am doing the same thing. All that matters is what Wentz tells the Eagles and what they tell him. We KNOW Sirianni had talked with him. And the fact that his agent hasn't asked for a trade SPEAKS VOLUMES TO ME...
