Players who could potentially not be with the Eagles next year due to cap situation or retirement who have said nothing.

DeSean Jackson

Alshon Jeffrey

Malik Jackson

Derek Barnett

Jason Kelce

Marquise Goodwin

Obviously they all hate Philadelphia and do not want to be with the Eagles.

Really, him being under contract through 2024 is a false narrative ??

Honestly wouldn't care if all but Kelce said they hated it here

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

You said I created a false narrative.

Without getting into the weeds of breaking down a percentage of who would or wouldn’t believe him, I think enough would to at least take the heat off him. That doesn’t mean it will end trade speculation because the Eagles aren’t curbing it either.

The people who have been the most vocal have been the ones that don't want him here anyway

They have all been listed in multiple articles as almost guaranteed cap casualties.  2 of those players did some type of restructure to make it more cap friendly for the Eagles to release them.  Kelce has talked about retirement the last couple of off seasons and leaves behind a 10 million dollar cap hit if he retires.

The coaching staff is taking shape.  It is composed of mostly young and/or new folks to the team.  Wonder if they are able to handle the unexpected events during a NFL season.  They may need to get some seasoned hands to help guide them when the inevitable things pop up.

Many of veteran players will also be gone.  Any locker-room leader will be around to keep the young bulls in line?

This will be a very different team next season.  When they say young movement, they really do mean it.

So I will start a poll then and see what we get.

Ex-frickin-actly.

I firmly believe the proper way forward is to have Wentz as starter and work with the Sirianni-Steichen offense.  Get the OL healthy, draft a WR to go with Reagor, Fulgham, Goedert, etc and find a quality RB to complement Sanders.

If I find out tomorrow Wentz or his agent have made a formal request to be traded and something becomes imminent, I’ll deal with that reality if it ever presents itself.  I doubt it will.

Thanks.  That article defines what could be a paradigm shift in how QBs are viewed.  Its an interesting concept.

I want him here and I’ve probably been most vocal about his silence...

Make it public

See what trouble you have caused....you have created a false narrative and we now need a poll...not just any sports talk radio poll...a real poll of TATERS from a real genius...it is going to be epic.....friggin trouble maker

Really.  Why would you be baffled that a bunch of adult male's are not stressed because an athlete did not put out a statement to appease our feelings.

Carson and the Eagles will speak at a time that is deemed appropriate by them.  The only people stressing about this seem to want him gone.  The folks who want him here, and know he will be here are not worried.  He has a contract to play for the Eagles in 2021, that is all I need to know.

I want Wentz to stay, but the writing has been on the wall since that Lurie presser. It was obvious then, and still is now, that he's gonna be traded.

Just gonna get an answer to his own question

I don't think so but honestly I guess we couldn't really tell

well...thats just outstanding and it will have so much credibility and really force Manu to take a side....outstanding work...you sure will show him what's what

For Eagles cap purposes, that is the only option to lower the Eagles cap number.   What is an acceptable dead cap hit to the Eagles, 20 million ??  If so, you think he has 13.8 million dollars laying around to just write a check ??  And in that scenario, he has to pay that money before the start of the 2021 league year.

He got $53 mil in the last 2 years so yes I think he has it, just might have to take some capital gains a little early

I’m just a stressed out adult/ petulant child who believes an athlete has to answer every question I have because he owes it to me.

I think that about covers it.

Lol, that’s not even what I said. I said if he wants to return the smart thing is to say so to take some heat off of him. You made up a poll that bastardized my point.
