Nothing like delusional fans giving lurie and howie a pass. I suggest listening to mosher and caplan on their podcast. They laid it out pretty well this is largely on the organization as a whole from howie and lurie to coaches to wentz.

When we drafted Hurts we should have known this was a realistic possibility. There is zero reason to justify why that even happened.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

I'm more inline with Les.  How would a source unless it was with the Eagles know who has called or not called about Carson Wentz?

Well if he has actually listened DP said I'll bet they aren't getting any calls.

Oh BS.

The eagles have somehow managed once again to convince fans that lurie and howie do no wrong. Pure amazement.

This is so confusing. You know the Browns beat the Steelers in the playoffs this year? The only team well most anybody gave any shot of unseating KC in the AFC.

Don't be dumb.  You know I was referring to the team that missed the playoffs for 20 years and had a revolving door of QB's

Do you want to get in on our ignore list PM discussion ??

If the Patriots are one of the teams making an offer for Wentz, then I'd bet Lurie and Howie got played by McDaniels. This is obviously pure speculation, but just imagine the valuable insight into Wentz that they divulged in their 8+ hour interview.

It will be wayyyyyy worse when he goes there (because of said information) and lights it up.

I mean it never hurts for me to know who others think are trolls but I do like to give people the benefit of the doubt at first

There is zero reason to justify most of Howie's picks.

The person who truly believes he's the smartest person in the room is always the easiest person to take advantage of.

How does Howie continue to have apologists?  He's a disaster.

I want Howie to be fired. That has more to do with his drafting, roster strategy and cap strategy than Carson being unprofessional.

They're not good at benchmarking teams. Mosher in particular really struggles at it.

Unlike a lot of people on here my theory was also they drafted hurts because they were trying to have a insurance plan in place in case they had to move on from wentz and they had a QB they loved in place to move to. i think they believed it would be more likely after 2021 when hurts was more groomed.

They looked at the end of 2019 and saw it was a lackluster schedule and didn’t know if they’d get early season 2019 wentz or late 2019 season wentz. They drafted hurts thinking they were being smart to get a safety net. Used the excuse of cheap backup and wentz’s injuries which were secondary and tertiary reasons to draft hurts cause people would buy it hook line and sinker due to the cap situation and wentz having a concussion end his 2019 season. Especially when they spun it wentz was on board when he likely wasn’t. Meanwhile it was more cause they wanted to have a good plan B if things eroded with wentz and they thought they had time to groom hurts before it got to that point

I think even if Hurts hadn't been drafted, the team would still be talking about moving on from him given his play.

Just wtf did Carson do that was unprofessional. And I'll wait while you provide proof

*Not saying this is true* but what if he talked to Carsons agent?

I don't even have to use subjective aspects like not supporting Jalen Hurts.

His refusal to address his mechanics in off-seasons, like all other QBs, is 100% on him. How "coachable" is Wentz is a hot-topic for a reason.

I don't think his agent would know.  I mean Goff's agent had no idea until the deal happened.

How would you know who or what he has done in any offseason? What proof do you have that he's uncoachable vs. the team just had bad coaches?

Carson has publicly said he didn't need to do it.

People want to say that Mosher/Caplan are right about the organization being dysfunctional, but they're wrong when they say that Carson doesn't take well to hard-coaching.

Your point is valid about bad coaches though. I thought Doug did a terrible job this year. So many curl routes on 3rd down and over relying on isolation routes.

Michael Pittman Jr. and a 1st (or 2nd) for Wentz and Ertz.  Trade back a few picks and grab Pitts.

Reagor, Pittman Jr. and Fulgham?  Goedert and Pitts -  Could be a really solid young core
