Phils pitching and defense will keep them mediocre.  Should have a nice offense.   It is ridiculous they don't have an 8th inning arm and closer.  Two fundamental positions in MLB now and they have nothing.

You may have a future ahead of you as the Spin Doctor in their PR department.  That's much better thinking on the fly than any of them can come up with.  

A few things...

- I don't see why there's so much drama around Carson Wentz not speaking.  I personally think it's fine either way.  Eagles fans and media can be pretty tough on a star player...and whatever he would supposedly say (I'm not sure what people expect him to say) would be questioned for weeks (by at least some fans and media).

- Jalen Hurts speaking is also fine either way and I don't  see how that's an issue either.

I would say it’s ridiculous but the Phillies completely botched their rebuild after their run. Continuously have drafted and developed poorly and they are stuck really in mediocrity cause of their farm being lackluster. Bohm is great. Howard might be. But the rest of the farm is bad and they traded away arguably their best prospect for Realmuto. Who i love but really they weren’t ready to make that move yet where they were sitting.

Any time there’s news released and leaked out there i think to myself why would the eagles put this out there and how they would try to sell it. 

it’s basically how i got to my reasoning on why hurts was actually drafted by the organization.

I gave McNabb's best stretch, when he was a "winning QB," to show that he was carried by that team as much as he carried that team.

Now he didn't have great WRs, he did have Westbrook, all pros on the OL and Chad Lewis.

A little late here, but Wentz to Chicago and him having to play with Foles again would effing kill me. I mean, just beautiful. I do like the idea of Foles coming back because I love Foles, but it would just be too good for Wentz to have to compete with Foles.
