I know someone brought up IG but I’m pretty sure he didn’t have eagles QB on IG and it really wasn’t trending. I feel like that’s something everyone would lose their mind over on Twitter

Agreed, which is why I mentioned it and was surprised I hadn't heard anywhere.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

I think Jacquet has promise.

I like jacquett. But he is raw. So saying Schwartz just gave up is ridiculous. Turnovers by the offense deep in our own territory, offense giving them crap field position and injuries hurt the defense. They weren’t great anyway but acting like Schwartz just mailed it in is a load of crap. And I’m not even a Schwartz guy and thought it was time for a change.

I don't think it was there to begin with. He still has the profile picture in Eagles. If he was removing Eagles mentions from his account why keep the Eagles picture?

Yeah i tend to agree. However i feel like due to his faith/who he is or wants to come off as, i don’t think he would be publicly nasty in a split like some other athletes have done.

So are the Wentz apologists going down with the ship or ready to admit after the reports today it's only a matter of time before he's gone.

I was always fine with Wentz being quiet.  But thanks to those social media moves, if Wentz is NOT traded, he’s going to have some explaining to do.

That situation with Britt Reid is bad. He was drunk driving and a five year old has life threatening injuries.

Hurts presence cannot be ignored.  If they trade Hurts away, will Wentz be happy to stay?  Granted, Hurts won't bring much back for the team.  But he is a lot easier to trade.  Drafting Hurts and who drove that decision remain the most puzzling questions.

You know another team that has a tendency to draft back up QBs in early rounds?  The Patriots.   They have turned that into a real asset gainer.   Eagles have a great QB that has shown a tendency to not make it through the season, so they draft a player who could be a quality back up and turn a profit later like has worked for the Pats.  Their OL loses two starters before the season begins, and did not have great back ups either. Their other T is playing on one leg and quickly after that, the LG goes down. So the expensive QB is getting killed and developing some bad habits so the team elects to get the back up some experience. Is the starting QB happy about that?  No but it is possible Carson realizes he was part of the problem.  How does that mean that Wentz and Hurts cannot coexist?

I don’t think Wentz is one to air dirty laundry.

He didn't do anything

Oh boy. That’s not good at all. Hopefully the kid survives.

Sure he didn’t. Nothing means everything.

Awful, stupid and unnecessary all in one. I believe he also had DUI issues when Reid was still here.

Perhaps Carson is trolling the fan base by removing the Eagles and adding them back into his social media profile?  What better way to pass the time on a Friday afternoon that trolling the media and Eagles fan base to see what reaction he gets 😁

Jacquet starting after Schwartz gave up on Douglas and Jones.

Jones wasn’t good in Jacksonsville. Douglas can’t play man coverage. He simply wasn’t a fit. You seem to skip over that for some reason.

Let me know when there is something real to read. I don't mind skipping the tweets from somebody's uncle that has a friend in real estate that is showing a multi-million dollar property in Indy  tomorrow to a tall guy with a couple tattoos on his arm.

Britt pleaded guilty to a DUI.

Right? I’m not even a Schwartz guy. But saying he gave up and didn’t care is a load of crap. There’s a bunch of circumstances why the defense had their issues besides just not being very good. I don’t think Schwartz was like well we suck im not gonna try.

A grown man should never be named or follow anyone named "Joshie"

Kind of reminds me of the time in 2006 we were having success with Jeff Garcia, and someone on the board would always refer to him as Jeffy.

Welp. He belongs on the Chiefs.  Cause Andy likes to enable his dirt bags.

Even if that 5 year old kid survives, his son deserves to go to jail. This isn’t a first time offense and I’m guessing the kid is going to have health issues the rest of his life.

Well that’s better than what TO referred to him as....

Kind of off topic, Twitter is all a buzz with the emergency broadcast system for the Trump take over nonsense again.

What do you think happens first.

The Trump conspiracy theory of getting back in power through the insurrection act, or Carson Wentz is traded ??

I agree. Just look at since 2010 who they have tried to make a consistent franchise QB and even groom to be a competent backup.

vick— one great season

kolb— lol

vince young— wasn’t even a competent backup

foles— was a good backup/fringe starter

Wentz— traded and clearly they don’t think he’s a franchise QB as they’d trade him away

bradford— fringe starter

clayton thorson— lol

hurts— jury out

sudfeld— did nothing but lurie thinks is unstoppable

I'm not necessarily agreeing or disagreeing with your post but in fairness:

- Vick - cost the team nothing to acquire and played at an elite level for at least one season and several games mixed in.

- Kolb - they dealt Kolb for a 2nd round pick so a win-win situation there, imo.

- Young - Didn't cost the team much for a backup QB.

- Foles - Had a pro-bowl season (Pro Bowl MVP) with the team and came back after he was traded to win a Super Bowl as Super Bowl MVP - Homerun acquisition (both times) without question.

- Wentz - franchise QB, had a near MVP season in 2017.  Granted, the 2020 season was bad but if he can come back and be 80-90% of the player he was in 2017, he could be a starter for years to come.

- Bradford - I wasn't a huge Bradford fan but they ended up dealing him for a 1st round pick so no harm, no foul, imo.

- Thorson - 5th round pick - he'll likely be among the 80% of 5th round pick QB's that might not make it in the NFL.  Not really a "bad pick"....just a numbers game.

- Hurts - Tons of potential, showed flashes of brilliance but as a rookie QB, needs to continue to refine his game.  Showed that he can win and that he can get the team behind him.  I'm still very high on Hurts.

- Sudfeld - How can anyone complain about Sudfeld?  They got him for nothing and he's been a backup on an inexpensive deal for the past 4 years.
