People are really going to be mad when it’s hurts at QB. If he’s not a franchise QB i suspect the fan base will take it well if lance, Wilson or fields are on the board, they pass them up and one has success.

Sudfeld is a UFA.  If he doesn’t sign or signs late, the Eagles get nothing but if he signs and sticks as a backup, he is probably worth at least a sixth comp pick.  Of course, Lurie is going to talk him up.

Also i don’t care about the rest of the league. The eagles haven’t done so and made some major miscalculations with contracts given out to QBs they thought were (assuming wentz isn’t if traded). So again if it’s hard around the rest of the league and the eagles haven’t done it yet makes me believe there’s less likely of a chance they find one with how they’ve hit the last decade since mcnabb 

I think they are very capable of drafting the "talent".  Whether or not they can (or will) develop that talent will be up to the new coaching staff.  I know Andy Reid can develop QB's and I think Pederson (contrary to popular belief) was capable as well.  That said, a "QB whisperer" on the Andy Reid level is a generational type of coach.

Fields is Jalen Hurts 2.0 and Wilson doesn't have the arm talent for the NFL. He's Chad Pennington with speed.

Again they haven’t done that even when Andy was here the final 3 years after mcnabb. So i agree they can draft talent that doesn’t meant they are capable of drafting and developing into a consistent franchise QB. They have had 10 years and two 100 million dollar contracts to QBs. And yet with them being talented haven’t become consistent franchise QBs. 

Well, if any of you are craving some They Kingdom Crumb you better get it within the next couple of hours.

Ummm i think it speaks louder about sudfeld the eagles played the card they needed a competent cheap backup QB to take hurts in the second round instead of going with sudfeld as the main backup and went with a rookie during a pandemic.  Additionally not a good look that they signed mccown late in the preseason last year and he was the backup to wentz not sudfeld. So lurie can say whatever he wants the actions of his organization says everything and people around the league know he’s talking out of his ass 

I was kidding guys, calm down.

I still believe both suck though. Not a single QB in this class impresses me.
