NFL.com comparison is Tim Tebow - I'm still mulling that over - what do you think?

Ridiculous.  He's already passed for more yards in his first few games (on average) than Tebow averaged his entire career.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Imagine being Sirianni taking this coaching job thinking you're gonna have Carson Wentz to try and fix and instead the GM goes over your head and trades him away before you even meet him.

Lowie seems determined to replace WFT as the most dysfunctional NFCE front office.

Imagine if you thought you had Carson Wentz and now realize it's Jalen Hurts...bait and switch.

Howie is notorious for overvaluing his players.

Yep, which is exactly why he does well in trades. After the Goff trade people were saying the Eagles would have to give up picks to move Wentz. Now look at the reports of what they are expected to get.

as did I 👍

Still have mine for the Chip kelly era!

Then again I have a few of the "odd" players. Me and my brother after we got Chris long signing bought a cox long jersey combo (mine is cox). I also have a sproles and brandon brooks bought soon as he said he had anxiety as I have been living with it on medication for years. A lot of respect for him.

Did you hurt yourself reaching there.

They were bad trades that he made. I'm not sure what you mean by reaching. He gave up the 6th pick in the 4th round for a guy who never sees the field and a 3rd rounder for a dude who barely contributed and left in a couple months.

And frankly, I don't think the Slay trade was all that great either. He didn't play up to expectations and probably should have just signed Bradberry.

100%, I just remember what he did with Sammy Sleeves after vikings lost their starter. Howie knows when to juice the market. Him trading and getting value for players is the least of my concerns. It is what he does with the picks after that scares me.

Man I hope he gets re-signed. Was fun to watch him develop throughout the year. Pair a Collins, Moses, Cox, or Surratt from the draft with him and the LB group suddenly is no longer a liability on the field.

Most teams were smart enough not to play Tebow full time at QB.

I love good LBs. It is my favorite position on the field. I thought he balled out and earned at least another shot at starting.

Howie Fing crap up like he usually does

All part of the negotiation process, especially when you have several teams involved.

Two 1sts is the price Howie should be asking.

Again, the Eagles don’t NEED to trade Wentz; other teams NEED a QB.  Everything depends on how many teams are interested; if it’s 3 or more the price goes up.

One 1st, a 3rd, and a young player on a rookie deal would also be adequate.  Howie would probably settle on 2 of the 3 as long as the first round pick is there.

I feel like Tyrod Taylor would be a solid short term option for a horizontal offense like what ours is supposedly going to be.

I agree with you, I mentioned that on here last night. Go with a defensive stud and a offensive playmaker in round 1.

I'd be stunned of they got two 1's. Not even counting on a #1 frankly. He was sooo bad this season.

I’m sure Sirianni was aware of the possibility that Wentz would be traded. We’re not that dysfunctional.

I disagree. The past few months have been a master class in how not to run a franchise.

We were told that the salary cap doesn't mean anything and fans don't really understand how it works every year.

It only doesn’t matter if you have job security.

Well, if Howie can pull off trading Wentz for a few picks, add a few more picks by trading down a few spots, we could end up with 10-12 draft picks, most of which would be within the first 4-5 rounds....which would bring in a good amount of inexpensive, young talent.  Then cut a few players (that are expected to be cut), restructure a few contracts...we should be good to go.

He does fairly well in trades sure, doesn't mean he's going to capitalize on his draft selections. Tate and Avery were not good trades IMO

Our record and current situation says that we can stack up picks and Howie will still fail.

This is exactly what I feel they should do. The only player I consider at 6 is Sewell. I doubt he's there, therefore full trade back mode. This team needs a ton of talent. Though I love Chase, he just isn't enough. We are years away so I just tack on a bunch of quality picks over this year and next.

Oh, I agree. Howie failed so many times I lost count...

Comparing an actual QB to a FB who pretends to be a QB, is just wrong and borderline litigious .  Urban Meyer and Scott Loeffler are both culpable if Tebow filed a lawsuit for malpractice.

The Tate trade was fine. The coaching staff just refused to use him. They so called" didnt know how to work him in" Yea seams Tate has been a very valuable asset to every team he has been on but ours. But hey every WR seams to suck under Doug's staff.

The fact is Tate came in mid season, no camp, no offseason and no time to learn the plays. If he was resigned, had a off season with Carson he would have been our best most reliable WR on the team the last couple of years.

So it was a fine trade by Howie but he made a big mistake letting him walk and keeping Nelson instead.

Avery was a crap trade for sure though
