And it makes perfect sense to me. The last 3 years by Wentz, with 2020 being an absolute train wreck, there is no way a new coach like Sirriani would tie his career to Carson. That would be career suicide.

My guess is Nick will either get to draft his QB this year, or maybe try Hurts for a year and draft one next year if Hurts isn’t it.

This is all about Carson’s decline as a player and trading him is absolutely the right decision.

I’m almost guaranteeing they go hurts this year. They are not going to give up on him after 4 games. Foles (assuming he comes back) likely competes with him in camp to be the starter.

Mooney is who I would be hoping for too, though with Robinson already a free agent, I doubt they would package Mooney and a 1st for Wentz in a year where the HC and GM have little job security and need immediate results.

You know they're gonna waste alot of picks to trade up into the top 3. And everybody will be screaming. Howie will be happy. Meanwhile we still don't address lber and other holes in the roster. I hated the Brandon Graham trade up. This seems like what they will do because the logical is so, I guess basic.

I don’t unless they love a qb this year  i tend to believe they love hurts more than people think.

Getting Anthony Miller would be great. He's an immediate upgrade in the slot. I have a hard time believing the Bears would do that though, given what Pace gave up to get him. 

This is going to be like the first Foles trade where we all thought it was amazing and then slowly and slowly compensation gets worse 

Kinda weird that the Bears would want Wentz.  Nagy and Doug are good friends and I have to think that Doug has told him about Wentz and his issues.  Maybe it's not Nagy's call to get Wentz but I'd think Doug warned him.
