Like I said, we have no idea what the compensation will be yet, so I won’t debate the merits of it.

But I don’t think Wentz is a good QB, so my expectations aren’t very high on what we should expect in return.

Why?  Obviously DeFillipo thinks he can get Wentz close to 2017 form.  He's confident he knows how to coach him since he did it in 2017 with success.

I guess but unless I'm missing something what WRs do they have?  Montgomery is a nice RB but what else is there?  But you're probably right as both Pace and Nagy need to win now.  Just not sure Wentz and no weapons again will accomplish that.

Chicago is a tough city as well.  They will criticize you just like Philly if not playing well.

If they do trade their 2nd along with Wentz then you almost have to trade back out of 6 to try to get a 2nd back.  Again, and we don't know if any of this is true, but the Eagles complete ignorance towards the value of a 2nd round pick is one of the most frustrating things.

They'll likely be open competition in camp for the starting QB position.  And you know the best part?  Both Foles and Hurts will likely be thrilled with the idea.  You know the even better part?  If one of them replaces the other at some point during the season, they will still back each other up and help each other and they will do it on and off the field. 

Give me the Bears 1st rounder in 2022 instead of 2021.

There really should be no rush at this point to get pick backs and fill holes. This team needs to embrace the rebuild and do it right. What we need more than anything are blue chip players. We simply don't have enough of them.

Seriously?  A week ago people were assuming the Eagles would need to give up a 1st round pick in order to trade Wentz...some were saying 2 1st round picks.

For reference, the difference between pick 20 and 37 is 320 on the draft chart. Equal to a late second round pick.

Fans of Wentz view him as having more value than the what his actual value in the league is. Eagles tried to get more, the league wasn't having it.

If they give up a 2nd, Howie needs absolutely Fing nail the draft or get fired. Keep wentz let him sit out be disgruntled who the F cares, they should not be sending picks to any team
