Foles wins the QB job against Hurts 9 times out of 10.

Foles was worse than Wentz this past season. He's bad, he also provides no upside, he is on the backend of his career.

There would be no incentive for the Eagles to play Foles over Hurts.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Yeah, I looked for it on Twitter and didn’t see under that guy’s tweets. In fact, he was quoting Natalie’s tweet.

That would be much better.

That ship has sailed my friend. Wentz wants out, and the Eagles want him out. No two ways about it.

Yep.  Once the Eagles hired the QB coach from Florida that had worked with Hurts, that was the signal that both sides were moving on.  I'm guessing the Eagles hired Sirianni hoping that Wentz would be happy that they brought someone under Reich to be the new HC, but by that point the bridge had been burned.

I don't think the 2nd round pick in return rumor is legit.

That changes things...

Where in my response did I say you didn’t trade him at all? because it’s pretty clear that I said you can walk away, wait until you have to trade him on March 20th. You don’t have to deal him on February 7-10. You have a month before you have too. So why are you hell bent on settling cause you are impatient and want a deal done quickly.

Welp.

I still don't like bring in Foles and Cohen with about 10+ mill to pay them. Not worth it for a QB that has gone 2-9 in the last 2 years and a RB coming off a ACL and only had 1 decent year as a situational player. Seams like low value for the 10 mill we have to pay them.

Super Bowl MVP

Manu beat me to it, but I'd rather have picks than players from the Bears.

Nagy and Pace are in "win now” mode. Out of FA’s, draft choices at #20 or re-signing Trubisky, Wentz is probably their best chance (assuming the owner doesn’t allow them to mortgage the future for Watson).

Yep.  From what I hear, Chicago will be putting everything on the table for them to win next season.  Apparently Pace and Nagy are on a very short leash and need to win next year.

It's hilarious because they really do say anything

Although it would even more hilarious if they just lied to him

It doesn’t make sense to get Foles back. We have a new coaching staff. And they might as well have kept Doug too if they were getting Foles back. This makes zero sense.

Yeah on a fluke run 3 years ago.  He was terrible in Jacksonville and Chicago.  If the Eagles get him in a trade it should be for no other role than a veteran backup mentor for Hurts or a rookie if they go QB at 6.

I don’t have the capacity to not root for Foles to win any competition.  We could have a 22 year old Brady, Mahomes, and Peyton and I’d want Foles to be our qb.

Its why I don’t want him here.

That means nothing.   If there was a poll for the Eagles draft picks recently, how many of them would have been upvoted?

Do you want the Eagles to trade for Darius Slay and sign him to a new contract?
Do you want the Eagles to trade for Desean Jackson and sign him to a new contract?
Do you want the Eagles to draft JJAW?
Do you want the Eagles to pass on Justin Jefferson for Jalen Reagor?

The list goes on and on...

In the NFL, things can change in less than 5 minutes.  But, I really don't want the Eagles to get Cohen. He isn't as dynamic as he was a few years ago.

This wasn't surprising

Congrats to Megatron. I knew it'd happen

Also coming off a major injury.

If it's true about Foles, then that is coming from Lurie. That has the clear markings of a Lurie sentimental move.

This is the thing that kills it for me and should be a red flag for the FO but Howie is a Fing idiot that thinks he's smarter than everyone

Well, I'd like to have a few players from the Bears.  Cohen and Foles are not those guys.

The Eagles love players with knee injuries.

Agreed. What’s weird too is that he would probably somehow outplay them too...but only with the Eagles. It’s truly bizarre.
