I don't want Cohen.... we have enough players coming back from injury as it is.

I would much prefer Miller or Mooney or a 4 or a 5 or...

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

If it's true about Foles, then that is coming from Lurie. That has the clear markings of a Lurie sentimental move.

I think it is more lurie no it’s next year is not going to be pretty for the Philadelphia Eagles. The cap situation, getting below the cap, The talent on the roster, a rookie head coach, a rookie defensive coordinator it’s going to be a long year. Anyone else who doesn’t think that is out of touch. So what would make the fans at least want to pay attention to the organization and merchandise sales? Nick foles.

Yeah on a fluke run 3 years ago.  He was terrible in Jacksonville and Chicago.  If the Eagles get him in a trade it should be for no other role than a veteran backup mentor for Hurts or a rookie if they go QB at 6.

They wouldn't be bringing Foles to start. When the Eagles hired the QB coach from Florida who had worked with Hurts, that signals they are moving forward with Hurts as the guy.

This wasn't surprising

Congrats to Megatron. I knew it'd happen

Just reminds me of how much of a joke it was that TO did not make it first ballot.

The Eagles love players with knee injuries.

There does seem to be a pattern...

Yup. Would be a popular move for a large segment of the fan base.

This is the thing that kills it for me and should be a red flag for the FO but Howie is a Fing idiot that thinks he's smarter than everyone

If he didn’t have the injury I would actually have some excitement for it because he’s a legitimate punt returner and something we have missed in that area since Darren Sproles got hurt in 2017. However is coming off a major injury and he wasn’t looking great this season before the injury.

I'd much prefer a defensive player.  Bears aren't exactly the team to be grabbing offensive players from.

Saw this offer and not sure I like it more than that of Chicago.

Howie would likely give him a huge contract too with 3 dead years tacked on at the end for good measure.

No idea if this guy has a legit source...

If I’m the owner of the Eagles and I know that team is going to be not good next year because of the rebuild at least I know Nick Foles is going to grab the attention of the Fanbase and I could exploit that and make money off of that while my team is going through a rebuild.

Business move wise it makes sense. On the field less so.

It would be bad from the standpoint that it would show that the FO is still hung up on wanting to re-live 2017.  Howie and Lurie need to understand that the Super Bowl was 3 years ago. They need to stop comparing rosters to 2017 and stop evaluating Howie as if it is still 2017.

I know that but I'm arguing with people who are saying Foles wins the QB competition with Hurts 9 times out of 10.

That rumor with the 2nd rounder doesn't appear to be legit. The person they claimed had the report said they never heard that.

It showed up in Facebook.. it should never have found its way on here.

Manu beat me to it, but I'd rather have picks than players from the Bears.

Now CB Jaylon Johnson would be something.

This guy is salty.

I’m pretty sure this is the same dude that’s been throwing out 76ers rumors for months now and every time they been embarrassingly wrong.

Getting a 2nd in 2023 is better than nothing... Also, I like adding Okereke more than Cohen and Foles.   Adding Doyle would likely indicate that they have something lined up with Ertz to move on as well.

Not a great trade... but if the 2023 pick is conditional that could become a first, that's a nice add-on.

Fluke run?! Guy out dueled Tom Brady in the super bowl. You’re a cowboys fan

The more rumors that come out the more it makes me feel it will be a team not mentoned much with a better offer. Just like Stafford, it was all about the Panthers and 49ers then all of a sudden its the Rams that land a blockbuster. Rams were mentioned but all teh eyes and rumors were on the Panthers and 49ers.

So who is that sleeper team that could bit on the rumors and up the offer? Patriots? Denver?

Jaylon Johnson was who i was hoping fell to 53 last year. Not sure how he fits with what Gannon likes. I haven’t read up about Gannon’s thoughts on what he wants his corners to be

Foles is eye candy, hopefully doesn’t have to actually play, will make some hoagie eaters feel like we won the trade regardless. Cohen is coming off a ACL and has a not-insignificant cap burden for a backup RB. I like him if he can be healthy, but we’ll see. I’m relatively bullish on the draft despite the weird college season, adding #20 means you can address WR/OL/CB with starter quality players in the first two rounds.

If Foles comes back, does that mean you leave?  Or would we need to sign Rueben Randle to make you happy?

Sadly it likely means the return of bobbywisdom and the exile of RTK. It’s a lateral move

Calgary Stampede.   Eagles will get 3 more Alex Singletons.
