For clarity... that last line is about Lane Johnson, not Jefferson or Aiyuk.

 

But, Jefferson and Aiyuk was my pipe dream for Rounds 1 and 2.  We could have gotten Jefferson.  Sadly, Aiyuk was high on the SF radar, it seems, and unlike our coaching staff, they actually had a plan to get him involved.   Our coaching staff still hasn't figured out how to incorporate Reagor.

In the pros?  He never had that gear.  He was a smooth athlete and a productive WR.

Likewise...Reagor...he had a bit of that look to him in college.  We can say what we want about that pick now, but he really moved close to that level on tape.  IMO, Ruggs and Hamler were the only other guys in this draft that showed that.  

And in the pros, almost immediately just like Maclin, it seems that gear isn't there.

True. Maclin has a little more size though.  The Eagles are counting on Reagor's vertical jump to compensate for his lack of size.  We'll see. I see Reagor more as a #2 guy or a slot guy. I don't think he is going to be a guy that produces 1,200 yards a year.

Ive always kind of thought a reagor comparison was Chris chambers. Chambers had a good career just not a star type of career. Chambers had speeds and had good athleticism particularly his jump. I still think reagor can have that type of career. I just don’t think he’s ever going to be desean nor have a no. 1 wr type of career.

Why i also kind of compared him to Chris chambers. That’s how chambers was able to have the success he did in the league. Both are 5’11ish

Chambers was pretty buff though, more than Reagor.  Reagor has time to add some strength though.

In fairness lamb before dak got hurt was on pace for 1400 yards. He definitely would’ve been worth the second rounder if that were actually the case and some team would’ve moved back. Still didn’t think tampa, Denver or atlanta wanted to move back.

Yeah chambers was 210 playing weight. Reagor is 195. But i think their game is similar 

LOL it was just the first mention of round 2 and I just laughed because we had no idea what was going to happen

Like half a dozen times. They completely didn’t maximize any of his strengths for a majority of the season.
