If he was at the team facility drinking and they knew he was thats a problem that they let him leave the facility and drive. And apparently was on prescription adderol which you really shouldn’t mix with alcohol.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Maybe you haven't noticed, but the Eagles have a long waiting list for tickets.

I doubt Lowie give a damn about optics and marketing. They want to win, they made the mistake of overcommitting to a repeat of 2017, they learned, they're moving on.

If they bring back Foles.... that's not learning or moving on.   If they even pick up the phone when JP calls, that's not learning or moving on.   If I hear one more mention about 2017 or Lurie's self-congratulatory spouting... that's not learning or moving on.

Aerial view of Inwood in Wynnewood, PA

No idea if he's a modern art guy, but he has a main line home from the roaring 20's. Looks like he did a lot of work to it, hopefully more restoration than modernization (the solar panels don't give me a lot of hope though).

Well, that actually looks like a very nice place.  Solar panels on an isolated maintenance structure arent too bad.

Not to mention they wanted him to fire Reich after 2016.

Reich wasn't a real OC, I guess.

Kurt Warner is a good example for your argument actually. McNabb on the other hand...

If mahomes wins a super bowl tonight he has 2 super bowl titles in 3 years and likely only reason he does not have 3 is simply cause Dee Ford jumped offsides.

just so we know how good Patrick mahomes has been 114 td passes and 24 ints. And 6 rushing tds. So basically 120 tds to 24 ints. Meanwhile Warner even when he was playing great was 98 tds and 55 ints.

That's not true.  Mahomes, Manning, Manning, Brees, Roethlisberger, Dilfer, Elway, Aikman, Young were all early first round draft picks.

Brees was a second round pick.  The Chargers got Ladanian Tomlinson after the trade back with Atlanta (who took Vick).  Chargers got Brees at the top of Round 2 - #32 overall.

Ah, the infamous internet "punk."  What are you, 17?

Mahomes has started 3 seasons, let him start 3 more then I'll call him elite, durability does matter.

Eli was a mediocre QB who had two virtues, Burress and durability. Otherwise he was carried by the Giant defense his entire career.

Never had a QB rating > 100, QBR > 70 once, > 60 4 times, career 366-244 TD/Int, Y/A 7.0, QB rating 84.0.

Top half, sure, top ten, only his best seasons. 5 of 14 years.

Dig down... that's the only way to get out of this hole.

Hey, you don't have to convince me about Mahomes. He's my favorite player in the league. Best QB right now. Afan is just saying to let his career play out a little more. I think we all know Mahomes will be great year in and year out though.

His level of play is elite, but we've seen guys burn out early due to injury or other reasons.

What makes Brees, Brady, Peyton, Rodgers, et al special is doing it over a long career.

Mahomes is the best QB in the NFL right now, bar none.  You sound silly.

Yup put him by accident, someone already pointed it out.  Point still stands though

So Mahomes isn’t elite but his level of play is elite?

You’re twisting yourself into a pretzel here. He’s elite. He’s proven. What he does for the rest of his career will determine where he ranks amongst the greatest QBs ever.

Mahomes is on pace to be one of the best ever.... but at worst, he might fall off a cliff and end up just a mediocre HoF QB.

Its very early but if Mahomes gets back to back Super Bowls... well, that puts him in to a very very small circle of NFL QBs.

Does his contract in the future limit the Chiefs? If so, that may be the only reason he isn’t in the SB every year.

Trent Dilfer: QBR, 60.1, 64.8, 82.8, 74.0, 75.8, 76.0 injuries were his problem, and playing on bad TB teams, when he went to Balt he was 7-1 and 4-0 in the playoffs, the same level of play that he showed in TB, but a much better team.

Brad Johnson was before QBR, but career 82.5 rating, similar to Eli. 8-5 in Minn in 1997, took Wash to the playoffs in 1999, TB in 2002.

Both were limited QBs who won in the playoffs because they were smart veterans surrounded by good talent.

Problem for most limited QBs is they tend to end up on bad teams, like Fitzpatrick, where their flaws are exposed.

Trent Dilfer was the backup QB the season they won the Super Bowl, and that team had something like 10 or 11 straight games without an offensive TD.

They rode Jamal Lewis on offense and let the defense do the rest.   Dilfer's job was to not lose them games, not to win them games.  I hate when people use the TEAM W-L record and give it to the QB.   That's a garbage argument.  Dilfer was so responsible for that Super Bowl that Baltimore let him leave as a free agent the following offseason... and he went to Seattle, as a backup.

Stop talking about QBs.  It's embarrassing for you.

KC has a short window, top players will be older and Mahomes contract wont allow them to do what they have done the last 3 years.

With him playing at the level he currently is, nothing is going to limit them besides injuries.

I feel this way if Patrick Mahomes had his leg amputated tomorrow and couldn’t play anymore I would still have considered him an elite franchise quarterback that was proven. He had three years that proof of how great of a quarterback he is.

This is the gale Sayers argument. He was great for 4 years, good for another when he had an injury and then he had another injury. Was never the same after the second injury. you’re gonna tell me he wasn’t a proven great running back prior to that injury? I don’t buy that.

Chiefs 34, Bucs 24

I don’t think the game will be in doubt unless KC pulls their "let’s fall behind by 10+ points before we start playing” act.  Brady has never been in a Super Bowl that wasn’t hanging in the balance in the 4th quarter — here’s hoping the Chiefs jump out to a 20-point lead so he can sulk for the cameras.

They have the best QB in the NFL. They'll be fine.

Brady starts slow in superbowls , he has been in 9 and has never had a td in first quarter .

Honestly i don’t think Eli is great. Or even very good. However if you are going to claim Trent dilfer is average and equal to eli Manning i find that erroneous.

Cant throw to himself , hill and kelce are big reason for his success so early

Brady was supposed to be done last year, looked done with no weapons.. fast forward a year , give him a bunch of weapons and he ends up throwing 40 TDs and playing in the superbowl

Kelce is the same age as gronk and less injuries. Hill is 26 years old and under contract already. They also have CEH who should get better with time at rb. They aren’t hurting for weapons. Hardman, Pringle and robinson are gonna replace watkins and be fine and clear cap space. Also i don’t see reid retiring anytime soon.

Anything new with Carson trade talks? Don't really feel like reading through 100 billion pages.

We are rumored to be trading Wentz to Kansas City. Wentz for their 1st and some unproven, project player named Mahomes.

Well I just read he is not elite, so obviously a good trade.

I hope that mahomes guy pans out for us. Seems crazy that he didn’t win 3 Super Bowls in a row. I don’t know if we can trust him with the keys to the franchise.

They will be 20 million over cap next year
