I will be disappointed if the team doesn't get at least a first. I don't really expect multiple picks but wouldn't be surprised if we got a player back like Cohen or Foles as a salary move for the team acquiring Foles.  I don't think there's anyway the team is getting a starting caliber player or multiple first round picks.

I'd want Wentz for a 2022 first round pick and whatever other pocket change of draft picks they can fork over...maybe a 2022 3rd would be a nice cherry on top.  Keep the players out of it.

If they try to give us any crappy players, we are sneaking JJAW on the plane with Wentz.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

That's terrible about the coyotes.  They're all over but I have never heard of them attacking people.

Where in NC are you hog hunting?

It's like he called Doug to come up with the gameplan.

Reid had that type of imbalance long before Doug became a head coach.

Is that why you think he is seeking a trade ? To me they accommodated him with a new staff besides he did sign a contract as well as cash in on the signing bonus. If he stays he should be all in which I think he will be ... if he doesn’t get the fresh start he is seeking

I'm not sure what's going on with the trade. I think his beef might be with Howie. I don't know maybe someday the truth will come out.

Yeah, but they couldn't run the ball at all and were falling behind fast that first half.

False.  I am going to chart this later, but go look at the play by play, they didn't run the ball to start the game.

This is a well thought out counter-argument. I cant wholly disagree with the 'win-now' argument. But the real issue still exists. I dont want to hear after the fact that your really wanted Wilson. Its such a cop out, and it's almost certainly leaked by Roseman and Co to cover their ass... they need to give the illusion of competence.

But Lurie buys that pile of crap.

Yeah I'm familiar with that story. Still, so very rare for coyotes to come after humans. Scariest thing I've come across was a bull moose this past September in Algonquin Park. 20 yards away from me, and my dog another 20 yards ahead of it. He came crashing through the forest and dead stopped on the trail. Looked dead at me, and I yelled out "Ah crap a moose". Well, my 30 lbs Jack Russell/Beagle mix heard me and came back towards it. Spooked the bull as it took off into the forest, with my dog close on it's heels. I recalled my dog but man that was tense.

Do you ever use bows? Or more of a gun hunter?

If they insisted on including Cohen, I would be fine.  I just wouldn't want him or Foles in lieu of picks.

My beef is with Howie and that pile of garbage he keeps throwing out there as a roster full of WRs.   And I'm not the one who has to throw the ball to them.   I just have to watch them be incompetent.

Liking or not liking Avengers doesn't mean anything regarding age.   It was one of those things that I think you missed out on a lot of stuff if you didn't keep up with the entire sequence.  I missed a bunch of the movies, found others mildly amusing, but some just felt like a waste of time.  So, when the final one came... it was a 'meh'.   I watched it because it was available as in flight entertainment as I flew from Germany back to the US.   But, it remains a 'meh'.  I think I know too much science to allow myself to suspend my disbelief on too many things.

In my case ignorance is bliss and entertaining. Obviously I realize it's was just a movie. I watched every one but did get a couple out of sequence. I hated the final one though.

I just remember what I saw watching the game, so it could be wrong if we chart it. They tried to run and were stuffed at the line a crap ton and got in a lot of 3rd and longs. I think one of them had a good run at some point, but Tampa seemed to have it locked down.

There have been several movies that tried to 'fake' their science understanding (and the science was actually central to the plot line) where I was actually angered by their complete and total disregard for the real science.   I'm not even really talking 'science fiction', but supposed 'scientific' genre movies where the science should be right and its so blatantly wrong that the entire movie is wrecked.

Quickly off the top of my head: "Gravity" - essentially nothing was accurate.  "Space Cowboys" - the final outcome of the movie was dependent on a throw away type line in NASA by a PhD answering a kid's question... completely bogus, common misconception type error, and it was brutal to watch as the film progressed... and I knew it was coming, so I just got more and more upset as the movie progressed.

The Howie beef might be the reason but there are reports that Howie is a Wentz guy and backs him.

Just my opinion but I feel the criticism from fans and media along with reports of anonymous teammates saying things about him is why he wants out.  He probably feels many in that locker room dont believe in him.

If you ask me he should just man up and prove to his teammates that he is the guy but he just wants the easy way out.

I enjoyed the Avengers movies.  None of them were anything special, but I found almost all entertaining.  Dr. Strange was probably my favorite, but the Ironman ones were probably the best as standalone movies.

There are a lot of people excusing the QB.

Even with clean pockets and open WRs, he was missing. So whose fault is that exactly?

If he was 100% team guy, do you think he can be fixed in your opinion ?

No from the article

According to the source, the belief around the league is that the trade market will come down to the Chicago Bears and Indianapolis Colts. While a third undisclosed team is said to be in the mix, the source noted that the Bears and Colts are in the driver’s seat and a deal is "close.

Single source knows what the Colts and Bears are doing.  That would have to be someone in the Eagles organization.  Cannot imagine that is true unless they are trying to prod the third anonymous team, which seems unlikely.  I suspect the "source” isn’t even involved as the "source” is citing the belief around the league.  Did the "source” poll the entire league?  Is the undisclosed third team a way for the reporter to cover his ass?  Weak reporting.   I liked reporting better when the "source” had to be confirmed by other "sources” with knowledge.  Heck this "source” could be Mike Lombardi or Joe Banner, who really aren’t sources at all.  It is not like the league has been beating down their doors asking them to join their front offices.  Me, I am skeptical.

The 2011 Eagles were 4-8 before the last 4 games of pyrite.   The team was not in position for Win Now mode... but, Andy's career arc was.

Tbh i loved wentz playing the way he did at the end of 2019 but that team was 5-7 ans also pyrite. They were not in a position to win now mode either. It’s why i went scorched earth about this team needing to rebuild last offseason. That said the 2012 was bad for the eagles and had a ton of injuries. I think the 2020 team had a lot of injuries but if they didn’t i still don’t think they would’ve been good or in a position to win anything more than a crap division.

I have hunted with every legal weapon. I have not been able to get anything with my 44 magnum pistol. But I have shot quite a few deer with bows, crossbows, flintlocks and inline muzzle loaders as well as with several assorted rifles. When I was in my 20-30's I did very well with my compound bow. Now I hunt with a crossbow in archery season. I love venison. several times I have thought about giving up hunting but I would miss that meat way too much.

I don’t disagree with any of your logic. I tend to believe it came from the eagles as well as santoliquito’s story today. I was stating the article had said there was a unknown 3rd team and wasn’t just the eagles and two other teams like people thought the story was saying.

If you're near Tarboro, I think Hinton's is the place to go for BBQ.  I have not heard of that outfit but I have a friend that's a big hunter and he have heard of it.  If you want me to ask if he knows anything I will.

Oh and yes moose are nothing to screw around with. I did get to go to New Foundland 2 Septembers ago on a moose hunt with my rifle that was fun (outfitter wasn't very good but it worked out.)

Iron man is my favorite character in the entire universe. Robert Downey jr nailed that character. Dr. Strange was good and the second one is supposed to be a horror movie. So that’s an interesting twist.

i actually thinking marvel does a much better job than DC at casting actors for the roles. They rarely ever get it wrong. There’s marvel movies not run by the studio at the point in time they were made like X-men and fantastic four that really didn’t cast them well. I feel like Charles Xavier with Patrick Stewart and James mcavoy were both good. Both magnetos were good and wolverine. The rest bad casting.

I'm invested now so I will go either way but if you get a chance see what he has to say I will appreciate it. Also I appreciate the tip on bbq I plan on checking some out somewhere down there and if I'm near there I will.
