Or maybe, just maybe, Howie is talking with his agent trying to get some cap space, hence silence from Wentz to the media and Howie, although do we really think any of the players spend a lot of time speaking with the GM?

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Howie above all, that's the Lurie way.

I might be giving lurie too much credit but maybe this is lurie allowing howie to pull a chip and hang himself with his own rope. If he trades wentz and hurts sucks he fires howie like he did chip when chip made all the moves he did.

What if this is all a smoke screen to get Wentz to re-structure his cap hit in a more friendly way?

I mean it's always going to be anonymous.  I do think he has some credibility.

Well setting fire to the relationship with Wentz is one way to create smoke.

Great, kick the can again.

I'm sure somebody said something to him.   Who it was, I don't know, and frankly, I don't listen to the opinions of cowards.  So, they can either own it or shut up.

Is it that complicated? I'm a fan.

Should have used a picture of him on his side airborne making that insane throw last night

Wanting Hurts over Wentz is not the issue. There are legitimate reasons why Hurts is preferred (or why Wentz may be preferred) but based on these rumors, the process by which decisions are being made is absolute lunacy.

Surely this can’t be true.

Yes, the news out today has shown that the FO is in complete chaos.

There are reports that Howie had a yelling episode with one of the Vets after a team meeting. In fact, apparently Wentz would have no issues returning if Howie was sent back to the basement again.

This is all disturbing. What’s Lurie even doing?

He's lost his way and his purpose as the current owner of the team.  He is no longer the trusted steward of the franchise, absolutely obligated to act in its best interests.  Now the Eagles are his toy to play with however he wants, and if you don't like it, go scratch.  Nepotism is the rule.  If he has any kids he should just hire them into whatever positions he wants.

Now that he has broken that trust, it will be difficult to earn it back.  First, he would have to come to the realization that HE is a big part of the problem, and take the steps necessary to fix it.

Surely, with or without his "voluminous notes" he can see that his and his lackey's personnel and draft decisions are 32nd best in the league of 32 teams.  In a few short years, they have gutted a super bowl team, ruined a franchise quarterback, destroyed a cap situation, and made several mind boggling and indefensible draft decisions that have robbed the team of talent.  There is little young talent, and no new difference makers.  Yet the owner will stick his head right back up his ass and keep doing the same thing with the same person expecting results to change.  Just change out the coaches again... that should do the trick.

Scorsese said those "Avenger” movies weren’t movies at all. I have to agree. I find them unwatchable.

No question but that Diana Rigg was the proverbial pick of the litter but the others had their moments. And I love Lumley in AbFab, though she’s hardly the same character.

I never saw a Marvel movie or DC (frankly, I could not tell the difference) in the theater although I did watch an Iron Man movie because Robert Downey Jr and AC/DC music.  Pretty blah.  Never really into comic books.  Closest I got was Tom Swift books in elementary school, the Doc Savage books.  Well, that’s not entirely true, I did read R. Crumb.

It really was some movie type clutch time throw but the dope didn't catch it. I don't even like Chiefs yet I'm mad that he didn't catch it

It is true, and don't call me Shirley.

Rob maaddi had the tweet on Saturday. Not that scandrick isnt a dbag but he said basically the same thing maaddi had tweeted. Even long alluded to some things after he didn’t come back but didn’t outright say it.  Believe santoliquito also had some anonymous source from the team say it.

Will Parks also alluded to it, but don't know if he meant specifically Howie. I'd guess he did.

He's content in knowing that Howie has surrounded himself with many GMs

We have a GM factory

He’ll probably alluded to them becoming a head coach factory since culley got the job in Houston.

Wait so Wentz won’t talk to Howie or Howie won’t talk to Wentz?

Fire Howie and get Louis Riddick in here to sort out this mess.

Come on Lurie do it, do It!

... I sure do hope the alleged offers from the Bears and Colts are real, and not just more disinformation from the Eagles

After reading today’s reports, Carson is telling Howie to pound sand.  The only cap space the Eagles can recover is Carson paying back signing bonus money.  Based on there reports, Howie isn’t getting anything from Carson.
