If indy drops out, it's bad for Wentz but not for Howie, Indy was lowballing to the extent that he's better off them going elsewhere and not having to explain why he dumped Wentz for pennies.

If there was a legit offer for Wentz and by that I mean a team was willing to trade their 1st rd pick, he'd be gone already. Howie wanted to gauge Wentz's value and it didn't come back as Howie hoped

Here's the thing.  Many of us Eagles fans don't want Carson traded.  We would rather Howie be fired.  We also realize that if you ARE going to trade Wentz then get a good package for him.  

So now here we are (if there's any truth to any of the reports we've heard) watching Carson's trade value go down.  A lot of us on here called this too.  Howie is going to miss his chance.

I think now we have to hope that this costs Howie his job.  Again, if reports are true and the market for Carson isn't there, he's either on the team next year or the return for him is minimal.  That's 100% a fail by Howie.  You simply cannot keep this guy and let him continue to run the franchise.

Well you should because it creates a huge unnecessary distraction for the team and the first year HC.

So what? Screw em. Wentz has a set value. If a team doesn't meet it bring him back. Team is going to suck this year anyway. So any "distraction" that brings shouldn't matter much.

It’s the QB position. Settling on a QB you aren’t high on is a mistake. Why even make the trade?

It is, I believe him and Lance have the highest ceilings in this draft for QB’s. As good as Wilson’s arm is, look at Lance, he has the Vick compact throw and release, his arm is every bit Josh Allen/ Patrick Mahomes strong. He had a few 40 plus yard passes dropped for TD’s because of how hard they were thrown, that’s sick at that distance.  Wilson has a great arm as well and probably more accurate deep ball.  Lance has him on mechanics and footwork, but Wilson obviously has way more tape, if Lance can read NFL Defenses, and learns to put more touch on the ball, (Elway breaking fingers) he’ll be the best QB in this draft.
