He absolutely does, but if we can't get good value, then I'd rather he answer those question here once and for all.

I have no issue with that. I keep asking myself is Wentz unfixable? If he can be fixed why would the eagles trade him? What am I missing?

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

That Wentz does indeed want out, even if some here don't want to come to terms with that, he wants a fresh start with a new team.

And if we can get good value for him, I am all for it, but if we can't then Wentz is going to have to man up and compete with Hurts.

There may be several reasons why he is being traded. First I would guess that the Eagles don't know for sure if he can be fixed, Second there still may be an issue between the Eagles and Wentz, Third, it's Howie who the flock knows what that guy thinks.

Or They aren't trading him and we've all been trolled

None of that matters if he hates the Eagles organization, specifically the FO.

Wentz needs to be traded yesterday.

Urban has 31 coaches on his staff, damn

By that logic Brady is worth 5 first rd picks.

Probably would be if he was not 43 years old. If he was early 30s he likely would get some serious compensation and he likely would never be on the market. How often does the greatest QB of all time become available? Additionally russell Wilson is now rumored to be dealt you don’t think Wilson is going to demand high end value? Watson as well as been rumored 2 firsts, 2 2nds and 2 players. You aren’t settling cause people don’t want to pay the price and want a better deal on their end

again just sold my truck. Bluebook value was 4500-5000. I put it for sale for 4500. I got ridiculous lowball offers from people thinking i didn’t know the value cause they wanted a deal. Like 2000-2500. So you are telling me i should just settle for that cause there’s a bunch of people on the market who are trying to swindle or get a deal?  Meanwhile i waited 8 months got 4500. Yeah so the value of you wait and have patience might work in your favor.

Going only by what Eagles personnel have said (Lurie, Howie, Sirianni) my assumption is they’ve told him the QB position will be an open competition in camp, and Wentz has expressed a desire to be moved someplace where he will have a more secure starting gig

If the Eagles don’t receive an acceptable trade offer (I now have my doubts they will) he will return to camp, win the job, and have a rebound season behind a better OL and better coach.

You sound like a petulant child.  What has Wentz done to you to make it so personal?  Seriously.  What has he done?

I think he’s an below average QB who happens to play for my team. So I want him gone.

Do you?  You want someone to disprove your assumption about him with proof?  You first.

I asked first.

This is an example of a very thin market, valuing an asset under incomplete information. Valuations are going to widely vary, and the "winner's curse" applies.

Which is why the right strategy is patience if no one meets a realistic reservation price. Wentz is a valuable option, you don't sell it for peanuts. Options have risk, but that's life.

Wow i finally agree with you on something. This is let’s just deal him to deal cause market tells you that’s his value. That’s an awful way to sell things. If you stand firm you might miss out on a sale but if you don’t you might also miss out on a better opportunity down the road cause you settled on something you weren’t thrilled with

Who cares, this is a 2-4 win team regardless.

Every fan should care.  HC already seems overwhelmed as is you don't want to throw more unnecessary issues at him that could lead to derailing his entire development as a HC and trying to build the culuture he wants for the team.

Is that what bears eat in the dumble?

Well haven't you heard.  You have morons in here just wanting to "push him off the cliff".  This is why we have the reputation we have.

Pushing him off a cliff isn't very exciting. Maybe slingshot him off one instead

If your car is on the market for 20,000  and you have people look at it and offer you less , but you say no and end up having to keep it , is your car worth 20,000?

It is to me.

Reminds me of the Ben Simmons thing where everyone was worried about him just bolting for La cause he trained there in the offseason so everyone just wanted to trade him cause of that.

not that they should or shouldn’t deal him. Just reminds me of how people tried to push that narrative just to get rid of him.

Let me guess.  You think Hurts is a better QB after 4 games.....is that right?  Or do you have a better plan?

No I think Hurts is a good back up who can win a few game in  a pinch

IMO This team isn’t winning anything soon. Trade off Wentz draft/Find and new QB via draft or FA next season. Use this season to build.

Nah....there is more to the hate for Wentz.  It's so obvious to.

You know you'd let Joan Jett dominate you.  Who are you kidding?

After Stevie Nicks is done Joan can have at it

The What? 😂 Reputation? 😂 😂 😂 You think this blog represents anything Eagles related? Man you bloggers are lame bro lol

Can you believe the luck of LeSean McCoy.  2 Super Bowl rings and he didn't play a single down in either game.

Oh definitely is. I think foles factors into some of that. Some people due to his personality/North Dakota-ness/lifestyle. I think some were just never fans of his to begin with so when he had a really down year were ready to pounce. I also think there’s some that didn’t like the way he didn’t talk but that is just more of a add on to other reasons. With all that when he didn’t play well there was more fuel tk add to the fire.

I don't think it's about Foles at all.  I think it's about his lifestyle/north dakota-ness and 2020 (not football related).

I think there’s a portion of the fan base that it goes back to wanting to keep foles over wentz. so they were hoping this day would come.
