Does anyone know if we're going to keep the RB committee?

Sanders isn’t an every down back plus there were rumors the Eagles are looking for a complementary RB to Sander so my guess is yes.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Awk

You know who happens to live in Texas?  Wouldn’t be surprised if they extend an invitation to him too.

Not sure why they’d invite former president bush. But why not lol

If there was a legit offer for Wentz and by that I mean a team was willing to trade their 1st rd pick, he'd be gone already. Howie wanted to gauge Wentz's value and it didn't come back as Howie hoped

More a wake up call to Wentz, his perceived value is disappointing to say the least

Walker the Texas ranger?

Drew Brees, if he can add some arm strength. Brees, especially in his 30s, never had a gun, but accuracy and anticipation can go a long way in the right scheme.

Jones would be a good fit with the offense Siri is going to install. If he drops to the low 30s Howie would have to consider it - after Siri has had time to watch Hurts' college and pro tape and decide if Jones would be an upgrade.

Good comp  , that is who I comp him to

There are almost zero every down backs in the NFL these days.

Eagles could use a power back, but you can get these guys in the 3rd to 5th round if you don't care about top end speed, I want someone with hands and who can pick up blitzes and run for tough yards, if he runs a 4.6 that's fine, the first five yards are the most important for a runner.

If you're never offered 20,000,  it's not worth 20,000. The market sets the price.

Markets change everyday.  Let’s say the best offer the Eagles got this offseason was a couple of seconds and a mediocre player.  So they keep Wentz and a Bridgewater event happens this summer.  Or they keep Wentz, he wins the QB competition and plays at a 2017 level under Sirianni.  Is his value only two seconds and a JAG?  No, of course not.

Now let’s say that the Colts trade for Darnold.  That puts the Jets in play for a QB.  If only the Jags and Jets draft QBs, does that impact the value of our 6?

I think marlon Mack is a guy they go after. Knows what sirianni wants to do and he’s gonna be cheap coming off the injury. He’s not exactly a power back tho

Agreed. I can see them using a 4th-5th on a RB.

I'd love to get a bruiser and have both on the field at once. Can't believe they only tried that once(and it was a damn success)

I'm just tired of rotating 3-4 RBs. I'm fine with rotating 2 or having them both on the field

I heard that rumor. No cap. I don’t see it. I’d definitely do it tho.

I love how everyone is a fast riser or up in comer by someone trying to get people to read, lol. "Oh he retired 2 days ago as a player, he def is a fast riser coach"

Hey Joe Bob stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night. He must be the next fast rising coach.

Coming off an Achilles and he’s had nagging injuries in the past i don’t think it’s going to be a big contract he gets from anyone.

Yep. I’d like 2 solid RBs instead of 3. I hate 3 headed RB committee.

Yes the best course of action is to get rid of Wentz, take a huge ish on the cap, and then try to find another QB who is a stud, unlike Wentz.  Got it

Fixed your post.

Great idea.  Let’s waste another draft pick on a backup QB.  Brilliant.

It's a better idea than your idea of wasting $100M over the next 3 years on the worst QB in the league.

I have the same reservations about Mac Jones that I did about Tua coming out — not fast, doesn’t have a strong arm, throwing to an all-star squad of WR every week who are getting schemed open.  At least he’s taller than Tua.

He will be a late 1st or early 2nd round selection — and hopefully not by the Eagles

Some players you know would be good coaches, the kind who were "coaches on the field."

Kelce, for example, or McLeod.
