Brady has never had a gun, there are probably 20 NFL QBs who throw harder. He throws hard enough, but his success was primarily his high football IQ, quick release and accuracy. All this you won't discover at a pro day, but from watching film and talking to his QB coach.

True, I’m guessing all NFL QB’s can throw 60-65 yards, but the 15-20 yarders that need to get there in a hurry is the difference, and that’s where Brady improved his arm the most. Even he has said his velocity went up 5mph from when he left college to 2005. Brady was clocked at 61mph in 2019, Josh Allen hit 62 at the combine, that’s still pretty good for Brady to have it if he needs it.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

I thought Carson was supposed to get traded this week. That's what a bunch of the tweets some of you posted last week said

I made a gentleman's bet with a friend that he wouldn't be traded by Monday. I was feeling this Monday that it was gonna drag out at least another week. Only a few more days to go.

It's going to keep being the next week lol

Wouldn't be the first trade that was supposed to happen but didn't.

unless someone is willing to give me 2 1sts and a 3rd for Wentz, I am keeping him.

I don’t think that’s what it says.

So if Watt's agent is initiating contact, the Clubs cannot express interest unless he had permission from the Texans.  Watt's agent initiating contact would not be tampering.

Contact by Player. If a club is contacted by a player (or his representative) who is under contract to or whose negotiating rights are held by another club, and such player has not been given permission to negotiate with other clubs, or such player is not in a permissible negotiating period under the terms of an operative collective bargaining agreement, then the contacted club is prohibited from (i) negotiating with the player or his agent; (ii) discussing even in general terms the player’s possible employment with the contacted club; or (iii) discussing the player’s contract or his potential or ongoing contract negotiations with his current club. 5 NFL Anti-Tampering Policy (2018-2019) In addition, the contacted club representative must inform the player or his representative that under NFL rules the club is not permitted to discuss such matters, and, if such matters are raised by or with the player or his representative, the club representative must immediately report such contact to the owner or operating head of the club that holds the player’s rights.

So tampering doesn't exist except to the extent the club tampers.  It can't be committed by an agent.

Per SI

Lawrence was impressive, hitting on almost every throw with laser-like precision, and did it mostly working from under center, something he rarely did during his collegiate

On another note, was NOT impressed with Trevor Lawrence's pro day. I was not a big fan of him anyways but this showing did not help his case. A ton of miss throws, over throws, bad angles, and just wobbly throws etc. I get it, he is having surgery but its not his throwing arm.

One of these things is not like the other

Right. In this discussion I’m assuming the clubs are talking with the agents and not simply saying "He’s under contract and we’re not allowed to talk about him.”

Paye is not a guy i've studied much but feels like he could be a surprise pick if we trade back

Speaking of Kansas City, they are almost $20 million over the cap with a long list of guys to bring back.  You would think at some point their contracts are going to catch up to them and they have to make some tough choices.

Tanoh Kpassagnon is a free agent this year.  He'll be 27 going in to the season.  I wonder kind of contract he is looking at.  Probably too much for the Eagles but I've always liked him back to his Nova days.

Wow time flies.  I feel like he was a draft prospect we were all discussing last year.

I would be livid with either a Rousseau or Paye pick in the first round.  The DL class is so weak those two guys are the tallest pygmies.  They both look like 2nd round prospects in most draft years.

My wife was on the celery juice kick last week.  I had a glass every morning — didn’t mind it; I could power down a glass, no problem.   Now this week she started making a smoothie with just spinach and kale; it was too thick to even pour into a glass so I took a straw to it.  Truly disgusting, and the aftertaste was not any better.  I probably only got about half a glass down, if even that much.

The health food nuts have it completely wrong.  I’ll gladly trade a few years to consume food that tastes good.

I get it.  I just don't think the agent is committing tampering or could tamper.  Tampering is only done by teams.

Can't we just eat spinach? I mean do I have to make something that I can eat in a salad into a juice?

You lawyers are taking my example way too literal.

Your example was a bad one and worded as a question.  You just don’t like the answer.

yup - The bridges are burned. There's no positive to keeping him.  There's also the dead money hit that gets worse into the new season.

Overdrafting a DE? I've never seen it.

It's definitely the time of hyperbolic takes on prospects by reporters.

I would hold out for 2 firsts, nothing less, you ever call me a troll again, karen

There are plenty of healthy foods that taste good. But yeah that smoothie sounds gross

Go back to RnR Mick Ballgagger!

Giving him away for peanuts and not having a starter makes no sense. Spending pick 6 (the year we actually get that high) on a picked over qb position makes no sense.
