Yeah......I'd have to say yes to this.

I thought they were 12th overall for some reason but there 8. Still do it in a heart beat but they probably say no.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Despite what he accomplished in 2017, I feel that the end of the 2019 season was when he truly took the "next step".  He won consecutive, high pressure, playoff-type, win-or-go-home games.  That's what franchise QB's do.  I was beyond dismayed when he was hurt early in his first playoff game because I felt he was playing at "that level" and he would have likely won his first playoff game.  And with that under his belt, who knows?  Would we be having this conversation right now?  I doubt it.  That sort of "thing" would have likely gone a long way in building his confidence and could have made this past season play out differently, imo.

Good point.  Living here, I already knew that even though the fans here don't know the draft happens in April.  There have been plenty of talks about the Eagles trading back with them at 8 so they can secure their QB that they desperately need.  I wouldn't mind that if we received an extra 2 or 3 out of it.  Their team is on the rise.  They have weapons, they drafted well on defense, their coach and staff are top notch, and all they need is a young QB to develop.  Rhule signed a 7 year deal too.  He can probably tank another 2 seasons before he has any pressure.

Not sure.  I know she's a huge Carson fan judging by her tweets.  Maybe she's "familiar" with some close to his camp?  No idea though.

"If you listen to the fans you'll be sitting with them."  Jeff and Howie should rethink their business model..............although technically they're right due to delusion.   😪

Not a chance.  They offered #8 and Teddy apparently for Stafford.  The Eagles don’t have room under the cap for him, and CAR would make any deal contingent on him going the other way.

A 3rd team could be introduced to take Bridgewater's contract

As long as it’s DAL, I approve this message

Could see a team like WFT maybe. Carolina connection

#8 would be the closest the Eagles could come to the value of 2 first round picks. Panthers would be dumb as hell to make that trade so I don't expect them to.

No way a huge contract for a RB coming off an injury. Outstanding player but no

I’m gonna try to repair the Sarcasm meter in here.

Starting to feel bad are my ideas so bad that people think I would trade for CMC?

I agree with most of that but those last 4 of 2019 were against awful teams.  A win is a win but it does matter if you can beat good teams, playoff caliber teams.  I dont think his record against above .500 teams is good.

His arm is not strong for an NFL qb and he’s not a natural thrower.  Just because a troll hates Wentz doesn’t make Hurts, John Elway for Christ sakes.  Oh but he mad a lot of throws in college.  Meh.  Yeah. Sure.

Ty Detmer made a lot of throws in college.

Completes 69.7% of his passes for 3851 yards, 32 TD's only 8 Int in 14 games his senior year. Yes, he made TONS of throws in college.

Do college stats matter in the NFL?

Heisman Trophy winner too.

Quick. Someone post Ty Detmers stats from college.  That must mean he has a string arm.

Done.

You know, if Howie pulls this off, he could come out smelling like roses.

trades Bradford, Maxwell and 1st rd pick and 2nd rd pick to obtain Wentz, Wentz takes them to the playoffs 3 seasons, including the SB.

trades Wentz for 1st and the equivalent of a late 2nd.

so gets 3 prime years of Wentz, then his replacement on a cheap rookie contract that more than compensates for the Wentz dead money. And ends up getting both QBs at a net draft cost of one 2nd rd pick - if you see moving Bradford and Maxwell as no cost moves (i.e. happy to get rid of them).

So if Hurts has a good of a season as Wentz next year, Howie looks like a genius.

Now first he has to get value for Wentz. Then Hurts has to step up. Check back in December.

Hearing a lot of talk that if Eagles do trade Wentz they could go QB at 6. Depending on how that turns out yeah he could come out smelling like roses.

What about something like:

Wentz, our 1st and Dillard for their 1st and 3rd this year and a 1st next year and DE Yetur Gross-Matos

So, you are suggesting that the Eagles should include moving back 2 spots?
