Howie really is a shyster. He wanted Hurts to start all along, but didn't want to put himself in the line of fire, so he did a whisper campaign through the media that Doug was anti-Wentz. Wow.

lol this is just picking and choosing what to believe. The multiple reports that Wentz wants out aren’t true cause it hasn’t came from Wentz directly, but people are willing to believe this?

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

They have enough veterans to trade for picks over the next year or 2.  You get max value for Carson.  That 1st rounder can also then be traded for more picks if you don't like the players sitting there.  Howie are you trying to lower our expectations on here?

They need all the picks they can get, Ertz, maybe Graham, that's about it for trades. A couple comp picks. So the more, the merrier.

It's easier to get extra value if they don't demand a 1st.

The AP is nothing more than propaganda filling agendas from top to bottom. Journalism is dead and has been for a while outside of maybe a few I can count on one hand. Screw the AP.

Journalism is alive and well at the top newspapers (it never existed on TV outside of a couple investigative shows, and even then, 60 minutes never approached the in-depth reporting of good investigative articles), and a few select magazines. Cable News is an oxymoron.

Most news stories are pretty bland anyway, "here's what happened." NYT and Washington Post do in-depth pieces, WSJ used to but since Murdoch took over, the reporting has been cut back and replaced by stories the NY Times puts in its Lifestyle and Metro sections. Can't think of a good investigative series in the WSJ in the last decade or so. New Yorker has great in-depth pieces, so does the Atlantic at times.

Top journals and magazines tend to separate reporting from the editorializing, the editors tend to have more of an impact in terms of headlines and story placement, a front page story in the NYT may end up below the fold on page 6 of the WSJ, or visa versa, but the general story will be the same.

I don't waste my time reading editorials or most opinion columnists, I don't need help with my opinions, just the facts, ma'am.

I don't know I'd have to think really hard about it. Nobody comes to mind right away though.

BS. The papers are own by corporations and all of them have agendas because of who they answer to. The rest answer to big tech.

Is there even video of this, or just the still shot?  This could be anything — it could just as easily be Doug complaining about some knob who cut him off in traffic on the way to NovaCare, and Howie laughing at the story.  You can’t even see either of their faces or eyes.  No one else in the pic is even paying any attention to them; if it was a "blow up” on the practice field between HC and GM — people would be looking.

Even if it were Buddy Ryan telling Mike Ditka "you just wasted a draft pick” confrontational, it’s nothing out of the ordinary.  This pic is a nothing-burger

Papers have to have readers to make money. The top papers market to an elite customer base, which attracts big money advertisers.

If the NY Times, Post or WSJ were seen as slanting their news coverage, they would lose readership, right wing businessmen read the NY Times b/c knowing what's going on in the world is key to decision making, they won't subscribe if they don't trust the value of the content.

Now if you're talking the NY Post, that's another matter - second rate papers are more interested in marketing to their niche readers, and if that means slanting the news to keep their attention . . .

I don’t remember if there was video but this from one of the beat reporters. There was no "blow up”. This barely was mentioned in passing one day.

I found this emoji weirdly out of place considering the post. 🤣

I'm no fan of Howie but if there was an earthquake down the east coast today, Eagles fans would be blaming Howie for it.

I really like Kaindoh if only for his size and athleticism. Doesn’t seem to be l that good at football though, but if you can develop a guy like that you’ve got an impact player.

Maybe Philly fans are running Wentz out of town.

People are truly sad and pathetic to hide behind a fake name and avatar while attacking celebrities/athletes/reporters/whomever online.

I think if Fletcher Cox can make 1-2 more All Pro he’ll make the HOF.  His resume will compare pretty well with Sapp and Cortez Kennedy.  It would help him not to retire the same season as JJ Watt, though
