Hopefully, they go full Trump Party, so all the moderates continue to pour into the Democratic Party and it becomes Centrists/Liberals/Libertarians vs. National Socialists.

Yeah totally. The dems look really fractured after winning the house, the presidency, and the senate.

Some headlines would seem to indicate you're wrong. The activist left have already started acting out. Should be fun. 👍

Yeah, I think GOP goes all in on National Socialism.

And we’ll get a lot more pics of Madison Cawthorn hunting in his wheelchair.

They go full fascist. They will continue working toward doing away with elections all together which is their ultimate goal along with national "purity”.

They are already working on how to put even more restrictions on voting in red states.

I don't think too much will change.  They will do what they need to do to win an election.  People asked what would happen to the party in 2008 and 2012, and Republicans won in 2016.  People asked what would happen to the Democrats in 2016 after Trump won.

Ohio Senator Rob Portman (R) not seeking reelection in 2022.

Another seat for Dems to target in 2022.

But there's a lot of crazy people in Ohio too. The Senate seat could just as easy go to Gym Jordan or some other nutso MAGA-party guy....It seems the radicalization of GOP continues, as moderates go by the wayside. Curious timing to announce retirement, a whole 2 years before the election.
