Has there ever been a good look for Texas?

Yeah, people with principles and a commitment to facts really has no place in the Republican party.

Amazing considering her father was considered to be Darth Vader.

I wouldn't press the "principles" issue too far. Politicians are principled when it's convenient.

Not every family is like Trump's where each and every member is a sack of crap.

 Congratulations on your achievement

Liz Cheney is super conservative.  But she’s not a conspiracy theorist, which puts her at odds with the MAGA folks.

I really would have liked to see Kinzinger stay in the house:

Terrifying. And baffling that the so called America first party wants to elect someone who blames America for Russian aggression.

Trump's tactic on voter fraud is brazenly obvious.  Convince the GOP body elections are being stolen, so that they feel the need and the moral obligation to actually steal it.

Not a stretch to believe when the government demonstratively fails to enforce laws and makes excuses for not doing so. If it continues I don't doubt it gets worse.

Nothing Like Republicans trying to claim that Christianity is the National Religion. Her argument is the reason people fled Europe and came to America in the first place.

If you read the article you’ll note that no one is required to register anything. The law (a bad one) requires surveys to be taken by the schools as part of funding requirements.

"Anonymized" and aggregate political views as a contingency for funding is still ef'd (as you concur).

Though most research funding comes from the federal level and private grants. States don't provide much beyond undergraduate subsidies.

What's more ridiculous is that the more radical right wing legislation becomes the more you push colleges and universities away.

Then you didn’t understand what you were reading.

Maybe.. and I'm just spit balling here .. maybe if the right didn't continually support and pass laws specifically crafted to be hostile to the educated class and attempted to create a platform (HAH!) that had any appeal to people under 40, they could compete on the merits of their solutions rather than trying to coerce the population through policy ....

Man it sounds crazy when you type it out like that.
