The only time politics was mentioned, was, of course, because the Phillies were on Fox, news station of the deranged. The political ads showing the suburbs blowing up thanks to Biden and Fetterman were the best, and of course, that was when the talk started. I redirected the talk back to Philly and sports. Other than that one episode, we had a really nice 4 days with him. However, I think he still wishes he was at January 6th, which is a hard pill for his family, mostly GOP, to swallow, since the rest of them are NOT truth denying dingbats.

I find it hard to talk to people. Redirection usually works for me too. If not I calmly say that I'm not quite sold that the Democrats are wanting a one world order 🙄 Or whatever rhetoric is spewing out of their mouths. One of my good friends is in the hospital, his wife blamed Biden for her not being allowed in the ER. People's anger is so misdirected. We have 1 major local hospital open, and it has affected their policies. If it's full, they don't let anyone in. Once he was admitted to a room, she's been able to go in.
