If people dont like it, change the rules of order to allow the circus to play out. Until then, follow rules and you probably wont be kicked out. so by your logic, MTG should be forced out today, right ? edit, ok, i did not see your prior post. and hell yeah on the last part. Quote Of course. Any nut job more interested in pushing their own activist agenda rather than actually doing their jobs and governing in a professional way needs to go. No, it wasnt, and youre just crying because you are so wrecked with TDS that you reflexively support any sort of progressive nonsense? Im stunned. You're all up in your emotions, as per usual. I support the right for elected representatives to be recognized speak on the floor of the legislature (even if their speech hurts your delicate sensibilities) as the founders intended. If her constituents do not care for what she has to say and don't feel she is representing them effectively, they can vote her out when her term expires. You'd do well to visit your local junior high school and ask them if they'd let you sit on on a introductory American civics class, so that you are better suited to discuss the basic points of American representative government with the grownups.

April 21, 20232 yr Texas Republicans passed a bill that would require every public school classroom to display the Ten Commandments, and also set prayer and bible reading times during the day. Never mind Kentucky already tried to do something similar and it was ruled unconstitutional. LINK Republicans ignore laws and the Constitution when it doesn't fit their agenda.

If they're being absolute loony toons they need to get the F out though, and that is the case with these latest moves. You had the crew in Tennessee making absolute spectacles of themselves which was clearly only for fame. And then you have "Zephyr" here lol At some point these people actually have jobs to do and cant be carrying caskets around or protesting during formal hearings and house sessions.

April 21, 20232 yr When people say we need to put religion back in school, I tell them that I agree 100%... especially in Afghanistan. It catches people off guard and the response is always a stuttering, incoherent mess.
April 22, 20232 yr https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2023/04/donald-trump-operatives-2021-georgia-runoff/amp " In mid-January 2021, two men hired by former President Donald Trump’s legal team discussed over text message what to do with data obtained from a breached voting machine in a rural county in Georgia, including whether to use it as part of an attempt to decertify the state’s pending Senate runoff results. The texts, sent two weeks after operatives breached a voting machine in Coffee County, Georgia, reveal for the first time that Trump allies considered using voting data not only to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election, but also in an effort to keep a Republican hold on the US Senate. "Here’s the plan. Let’s keep this close hold,” Jim Penrose, a former NSA official working with Trump lawyer Sidney Powell to access voting machines in Georgia, wrote in a January 19 text to Doug Logan, CEO of Cyber Ninjas, a firm that purports to run audits of voting systems. In the text, which was obtained by CNN and has not been previously reported, Penrose references the upcoming certification of Democrat Jon Ossoff’s win over Republican David Perdue. "We only have until Saturday to decide if we are going to use this report to try to decertify the Senate run-off election or if we hold it for a bigger moment,” Penrose wrote, referring to a potential lawsuit."

If he’s smart he’ll wait another 4 years and take a run at it then, when Trump is either barred from holding office, a two-time loser, or in the ground. Either way, I think he’d be just as bad a Republican nominee as Trump, if not as buffoonish
