Being "phony" has a specific meaning, that's why I used that word.  Say what you want but with Trump, what you see is what you get.

Christie pretending like hes some perfect model of statesmanship is funny when he has his own baggage, bridgegate and then we all know about the closed beach.  

So he can spare the "the only job is to level with the American people" schtick when he abused his power in NJ for political purposes.

So when it comes to the debates you don't want reality show performative nonsense but the President doing constantly while he was in office it is cool and Trump doing it on the campaign trail is cool too and Trump doing it the next time he's in a debate is also cool.  Makes a lot of sense, Mike.  You're in no way in a cult.
