These are my favorite.

Tastykake Peanut Butter Kandy Kakes Chocolate & Peanut Butter Snack Cakes 12 Count - 2 Boxes

I freaking LOVED these as a kid. And Butterscotch Krimpets.

Wonder how'd I like them as an adult. Maybe I'll buy a pack next time I'm in town.

Do it.  You won't like them nearly as much but you'll likely still have a positive experience eating them.  At least that's what happened to me.

I saw them at the supermarket and thought "what the hell". They are still awesome.

Amash running for Senate

Quote

After thoroughly evaluating all aspects of a potential campaign, I’m convinced that no candidate would be better positioned to win both the Republican primary and the general election. That’s why, today, I’m making it official: I’m joining the race for United States Senate in Michigan.

If you don’t see how Cruz would be worse than McConnell, then you are effing blind.

As unapproachable and alienating as McConnell is, Ted Cruz is far worse.

Good thing he’s not an illegal immigrate, I mean newcomer. 😇

I prefer our criminals be illegals and not Americans.

Even stupid Americans, like this little dewsheberry.

The usual suspects.

They have a new crusade to fight.

Free lunches in schools.

Republicans: Stop sending all our tax dollars to Ukraine! It should be spent here on Americans!

Democrats: Ok, how about hungry children?

Republicans: Life begins at conception, save the children.
Democrats: Ok, lets fund their Education, provide them with snap benefits, lunch at school, health insurance, and provide a child tax credit.
Republicans: F them kids.

Agreed. For some reason packaged sweets were better as a kid. Like at lunch you’d trade away anything for one of those packaged, sprinkled brownies, but you have one as an adult and they taste like cardboard.

I think one of the best QOL improvements that could be made for lower income families as a whole is free daycare and increased after school recreation activities/clubs. Regarding the latter, I get the impression that inner city and rural schools don’t have anywhere near the extra curricular activities that a suburban school has.

I eat childhood favorites from time to time. A lot of it is crap food, but the enjoyment from eating it stays with you IMO

Virtually none of the frozen stuff tastes the same as it used to, and most are not close.

https://itep.org/corporate-tax-avoidance-trump-tax-law/

"The tax overhaul signed into law by former President Donald Trump in 2017 cut the federal corporate income tax rate from 35 percent to 21 percent, but during the first five years it has been in effect, most profitable corporations paid considerably less than that. This is mainly due to loopholes and special breaks that the 2017 tax law left in place and, in some cases, introduced. Corporate tax avoidance occurs because Congress allows it to occur, and the Trump tax law in many ways made it worse. The corporate minimum tax and expanded tax enforcement funding signed into law in 2022 by President Biden could begin to reduce corporate tax avoidance, as would other proposals from the White House that have not yet become law."

Pretty sure he campaigned on closing tax loopholes. Another miss.

I live in North Carolina and we have Tastykakes here.  Fwiw.  I’ll buy some like once a year.
