Brought it over here because I am curious about this. What happens to that group of people in the right that don't believe in the maga cult policies? Who do they vote for from now on? (talking about after the 2024 election)

(talking about after the 2024 election) Well, I personally plan to just write in someone like Romney. If I lived in a swing state, I'd hold my nose and vote for the Democrat to stop Trump as I see him as too dangerous and stupid to be President again. I think the honest answer is the group of "never Trumpers" really isn't that large -- Cheney, Bush, Kinzinger, Romney, Lincoln Project...I don't see enough there to restart an actual conservative party. The horribly disappointing part of MAGA is how many prior conservatives have abandoned all their principles to join the cult.

Do you think this will lead to more republicans not voting in future elections because maga took over the party?

No. I think more and more former Republicans will accept voting MAGA once it is no longer packaged in the repugnant human sausage casing that is Donald Trump. If Vance is the next iteration of a MAGA candidate, I see more "normal" Republicans talking themselves into voting for him. The GOP transition to a nationalist, populist, isolationist party is complete.

Some smart people I follow are indicating that Russia may make a minor move on the Baltics to see what happens. Last time around the Axis had three main players just like this time around, but two of them were in the same theater. I don’t know if that’s going to make it easier or harder.

They should have either convicted him when they had their chance or split and started anew before the damage got so deep.
