April 30Apr 30 Not sure how the EMB legal experts got this one so wrong."Milwaukee County Chief Judge Carl Ashley said federal agents have leeway to operate in the hallways of the Milwaukee County Courthouse, even if they only have what's known as an administrative warrant.Asked to comment on the April 25 arrest of Circuit Judge Hannah Dugan, Ashley said a formal policy for access to the courthouse is still being drafted but the county faces "limitations on what we can do.""The reality is, for my colleagues, we don't have control in the public hallways," Ashley said.He said that an administrative warrant, despite lacking a judge's signature, can be used to make arrests in a public hallway."

May 1May 1 MORAN: I’m not saying he’s a good guy. It’s about the rule of law. The order from the Supreme Court stands, Sir.TRUMP: He came into our country illegally.MORAN. You could get him back. [pointing to Resolute Desk] There’s a phone on this desk.TRUMP: I could.MORAN: You could pick it up, and with all the power of the presidency, you could call up the president of El Salvador and say, "Send him back right now.”TRUMP: And if he were the gentleman you say he is, I would do that.MORAN: But the court has ordered you to facilitate that– his release.TRUMP: I’m not the one making this decision. We have lawyers–MORAN: You’re the president!TRUMP: –that don’t wanna do this.MORAN: But the buck stops in this office.TRUMP: No, no, no, no, no. I follow the law. You want me to follow the law. If I were the president that just wanted to do anything, I’d probably keep him where he is.MORAN: The Supreme Court says what the law is.TRUMP: Listen, I was elected to take care of a problem that was– it was a unforced error that was made by a very incompetent man, a man that turned out to be incompetent that you always said was wonderful. A great genius, right? And now you find out, all of the media, they’re saying what a mistake they made.
May 1May 1 https://www.nytimes.com/2025/04/30/us/politics/trump-deportations-venezuela-el-salvador.htmlAs they addressed reporters inside the Oval Office in mid-April, President Trump and his Salvadoran counterpart appeared to be operating in lock step. The United States had just deported more than 200 migrants to a maximum-security prison in El Salvador, and President Nayib Bukele said his country was eager to take more. He scoffed at a question from a reporter about whether he would release one of the men who a federal judge said had been mistakenly deported."I mean, we’re not very fond of releasing terrorists into our country,” Mr. Bukele said. But weeks earlier, when the three planes of deportees landed, it was the Salvadoran president who had quietly expressed concerns. As part of the agreement with the Trump administration, Mr. Bukele had agreed to house only what he called "convicted criminals” in the prison. However, many of the Venezuelan men labeled gang members and terrorists by the U.S. government had not been tried in court.Mr. Bukele wanted assurances from the United States that each of those locked up in the prison was members of Tren de Aragua, the transnational gang with roots in Venezuela, according to people familiar with the situation and documents obtained by The New York Times. The matter was urgent, a senior U.S. official warned his colleagues shortly after the deportations, kicking off a scramble to get the Salvadorans whatever evidence they could.Mr. Bukele’s demands for more information about some of the deportees, which has not been previously reported, deepen questions about whether the Trump administration sufficiently assessed who it dispatched to a foreign prison. The New York Times pieced together the most complete account yet of the U.S. arrangement with El Salvador and the March 15 deportations from internal government documents, court filings and interviews with 22 people familiar with the operation or legal challenges, many of whom spoke on the condition of anonymity to avoid retaliation.

He was caught fraternizing with known MS13 while wearing MS13 gear, has MS13 tattoos, and was ruled he couldn't be deported because a rival gang might kill him because he was, you know, a member of a rival gang. He's also a violent wife beater and skips out on court dates. Now the wife-beating known gang member has been deported to his native country and libtards think they've discovered some new civil rights icon. Yes, you guys are that retarded. I, personally, hope this one stays in the news cycle for as long as humanly possible because it's hilarious and normal people get a taste of just how psychotic liberals are when it comes to fighting for violent illegal criminals to stay in our country. Keep fighting the good fight, o/f!

In any case, the Executive Branch is not the sole owner of all foreign diplomacy, i.e. Congress controls tariffs and it is Congress that can declare war.

But this isn’t a matter a treaty…It’s more a question of if SCOTUS takes this position, not POTUS. Are they going to grant themselves new constitutional powers, superseding the co-equal branch which is actually granted these powers in the constitution, and do so by judicial fiat?

Trump specifically stated he could easily call the pres of El Salvador and ask he be released. He is not doing that therefore he is in defiance of a supreme court order. What can't you get through you thick skull?
