Two points on this from me:

1. This is all 100% on Trump. He made a very conscious and tactical decision from the get go to use ICE as a terror squad. End stop period.

2. You do have to admire his fascist instincts. This is a diversion for the diversion. He's not taking your eye off Musk/Epstein, he's taking your eye off the complete and utter failure of his administration in every sense of the word. Economically, legally, foreign entanglements, everything he promised and not only has failed to deliver but has actively worsened.

His instincts to incite and unite his base are unmatched by any leader in a long time. He hasn't fulfilled a single political promise except "stick it to and terrorize the left at home".
