No. As I said it’s all of Washington. Both sides!!!!

Welcome to the real world, not the fantasy land in your head where bills get passed without any form of negotiation or concessions in this hyper polarized political environment.

For future reference, when you get called an uninformed child for failing to understand how bipartisan legislation gets passed, this is why.

The bill, like so many others, had a bunch of Bullsheet tied to it. It’s what Washington does and if you don’t want to pass something because of what’s tied to it you are blasted as not doing anything.

The limitations are in place due to people coming and staying illegally. Either with a visa or with nothing the illegals help cause the limits. Of course it’s a singular reason for the limits but it has played a factor.

The immigration limitations are in place because that's what they wanted our immigration policy to be in 1965, and it has not changed significantly since then. It has nothing to do with the current problem with illegals/undocumented - the major problem there is that Washington has not been responsive to the problems with updated policy.

Every time they come close with some imperfect bill that nonetheless fixes some parts of the process, nativists come out of the woodwork blasting it as a step towards "Western erasure"

Yea I'm sure you and your wife never made a single mistake on your taxes dating back 7 years. Best of luck to you both, bud.

Most likely not. It’s possible but never been audited, both work in accounting, me more than her but it’s possible. We also been going to the same accountant at tax season for years. Protected with them.

Anything is possible but I’ll take my chances of not committing crimes.

No I know it happens and what was attached wasn’t worth putting through for what was being given. In negotiation it is normal to walk away and not make a deal. But please keep teaching me about negotiating I’d love to hear more.

Yea policy could change but to act as if policy isn’t in place because of illegals is asinine.

Then to compare these holding cells to concentration camps is just pathetic.

Well yea we aren’t committing crimes so I didn’t respond to that

What do they say, the average citizen commits three felonies a day? They're putting in place systems where any coloring outside the line, intentional or not, gives the government the right to denaturalize "undesirables".

They're doing this intentionally. This is not hyperbole.

The policy that is in place predates the "crisis" of undocumented immigration. It literally is not in place because of that, and attempts to reform to better address the current state have been thwarted variously.

Primarily because the right loves to keep it as a talking point. But also because any reform has to take into account the fact that as a nation we have committed to processing asylum requests, but have not funded it sufficiently to meet the needs. Which is exactly what is being exploited.

At least they aren't gassing people yet is a cool flex bro. One of your compatriots suggested it wasn't a bad idea, and another said we should simply shoot them at the border as an effective means of border control. Women and children et all. We also have this guy who was pardoned by the president and called "a great patriot".

Was Obama weak on immigration or strong on it? You've made both points dozens of times.

We’ve had an immigration problem since the start of the country.

Yes yes you aren’t trying to compare these holding cells to notsee concentration camps. You’ve made that bit at all clear by brining up notsees, neonotsees, and Hitler every chance you get to try and prove that they’re the same but ok.

Look I get it. You want so desperately for Trump to be Hitler and these holding cells to be the same as actual concentration camps that you tried busting out a definition to prove that they’re the same, but despite all the mental gymnastics you’re going through they aren’t.

"It is way more easy to defraud the immigration system and the government more than people think. And I have proof of that because that’s what Armstrong [Williams] and [Former Attorney General] Bill Barr does,” she said.

Patrícia Lélis alleges wealthy foreigners are obtaining US visas through sham companies and Bill Barr not only knows about it, he is actively participating in the scheme.

Never change, CVON. Never change. Fing concentration camps 😂

Trump is not Hitler. Hitler served his country in the military. He wrote his own book. He marched with his supporters during his insurrection. Trump is an authoritarian who has openly admired Hitler since the 80's. He needs useful idiots like you to say "This is normal and it's not that bad. They're illegals. They deserve it".

Weren't you one of the Trumptards rheeeing about tyranny when Michelle Obama wanted kids to eat fruits and vegetables at lunch?

Was that happening at a concentration camp too?

Not really, but with that now you're moving the goalposts.

I'm the modern era, we have different immigration problems every generation. Policy from Washington needs to be responsive to the evolving problems and it hasn't been.

There is no singular solution, every age needs their own.

I agree policy needs to change and hasn’t fast enough. Getting rid of illegals is a start to ease the pain the system has.

You're fixated on this idea that illegals/undocumented have overwhelmed the immigration system.

They've overwhelmed the asylum and criminal justice systems. Not the immigration system.

They had zero impact on your wife's immigration process.

Don't blame undocumented immigrants for your wife's naturalization process. You're just transferring blame.

In reality illegals do. There’s a bunch of reasons why that I’m not going to keep going over.
