And why do you think someone would sue? Maybe because the officer violated their rights? Laws are one of (not the only) reasons polices exist. It’s never the other way around.

The case I sighted is very similar, the main difference being the officer was conducting a lawful stop that went sideways but it wasn’t the intent of the driver to flee or run him down. The Minnesota incident even a lawful stop, she was not detained, not being given a citation, she was innocent and shot for no reason.

It's only cloud based if the department subscribes to ETM, otherwise it's just stored locally on department computers. For medium sized departments you're looking at millions per year to pay for ETM.

No, the Axon does not automatically activate when the lights and sirens go off. The officer must manually activate it. The dash cams from the 90s did this, if that's what you're thinking of, but for any bwc no the officer needs to activate it for it to record.

This is nonsense as well. First of all, she was detained, because a detention begins the moment an officer detains her. Any order to stop or do whatever starts the detainment. Not even speaking the legality of the detainment, the detainment began when an officer told her to get out of the car. That's basic level stuff.

And no, the cases cited aren't similar. Officer positioning, type of stop, and officer interaction with the detainee are completely different.

It's like you watched an episode of Castle and and now think that's how it works. It's not how any of it works.
