Trump spent $8T, signed checks to every Americans and you idiots can't wait to nominate him again. At least the Dems align with Libertarians socially. The right's transformed into the socially conservative/fiscally liberal party. There's literally no common thread with libertarianism anymore. Because, like I said in the post you quoted and then ignored, people get more fiscally conservative as they age. Normally, they'd pivot to the Republican party, but since they're big government authoritarians now, they're either working to make the Dems more centrist or moving to the Libertarian Party. Black swan events like the coronavirus pandemic aside, the vast majority of republicans despise the federal government and government handouts, and want to see the federal budget slashed dramatically. Are you getting more fiscally conservative as you age, van? No, you'll never convince a literal cult that's based on worshipping the federal government to all of a sudden pivot to a small government fiscal conservatism. And again, if a real libertarian got into office and started doing libertarian things to the federal budget, you would quite literally piss and sheet yourself.
January 23, 20241 yr "The right's fiscally liberal" all the commies say as Biden has just forgiven about a trillion in student loans Imagine being that retarded

Sounds like it's time to bust out the quote again, @VanHammersly.

Seriously, it's hilarious arguing with these midwits. It's like they acknowledge that the federal government is a trainwreck disaster, but now they're only counter is "well republicans spend, too." At least have some testicles (I know, big ask for a male liberal) and defend why you think the dems running deficits in the trillions per year is a good thing, or why you like the rampant expansion of the federal government. Have some principles besides orange man bad.

You borrowed the money, you payback the money. I haven't followed all the cases too closely, but I think the bulk of his attempts were legally challenged (thankfully) and have been held up in the courts. The only ones that have been able to go through are ones tied to public service.

Yeah that's me, always banging the table for student loan forgiveness. Guilty as charged, can't get nothing past you, Kz.

Is that what you mean by "Trump wants a 10% tax on everything?" But yeah, Trump has talked about an extensive tax overhaul that's supposed to incentivize manufacturing and production in the US. The 10% tariff on foreign goods would come with tax cuts elsewhere. https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/2023/09/11/trump-tax-cuts-2024/

Nope, you're just a cheerleader for democrats and Biden which means you are disqualified from pretending to be a fiscal conservative, mighty mouse.

The President can unilaterally impose tariffs. Congress has to be on board with an "extensive tax overhaul". Zero chance that would happen. You'd be paying 10% more for everything you'd buy, get absolutely no tax overhaul and you'd love it.

So you admit the whole "Trump wants a 10% tax on everything" was completely made up (or at least you misunderstood something you read on social media), right? But yeah, I imagine if Trump wins the presidency republicans would probably retain control of Congress. 3 minutes ago, we_gotta_believe said: Kinda like how you have yet to impregnate a woman, Flaccido Domingo, yet you think you're still qualified to talk about other people's testicals working and their testosterone levels.
